Bought this air conditioner for my daughter bedroom she loves it super easy to use light weight does the job and super quite doesn't wake kids up kicking on and off

Yes, it Cools the Room!
Great product at a great price. IT COOLS THE ROOM! It also dehumidifies and freshens the air. Installing it wasn't too difficult; it did take a minute to figure out how to attach the side panels. But as you can see from the photo, I got the job done! Also, I added some window seal tape. That may or may not be necessary, but in this humid climate any extra seal is a good thing. An almost-mistake that was made - my friend was helping me, he walked around the back of the house with a 4X4 post. "What is that for?" "Why, to prop it up of course!" NO NO NO. The AC is held in place by the top f the double hung window. It is not whisper-quiet, but it's also not too loud. You need to make sure the setting is on COOL. Thanks to Government Liberals, it defaults to "Eco", which means that outside air is blended in, it will not be Cool. (If I want Economy or to save money, I will turn it Off. And if I am concerned about the Fairy Tale of Climate Change, I would not have bought it in the first place!) Suggest: Put it on COOL, turn the Temp down as far as possible, set the Fan on high. CRANK IT UP! Summary of my review - I am HAPPY. I 've had this window AC for over a month during the hot summer (July and August), I would buy it again! .

Great A/C unit
My room is 11.5 x 11.25 and this unit does a great job of keeping it cool. I have it running at 78 degrees on Eco mode and it does great so if your room has similar dimensions this unit will do just fine you wont regret it. Now I am able to have a good night sleep or even a nice nap during the day as my room gets extremely hot and humid. Also if you use a fan to help circulate the cool air around faster the unit does a better job and even after the unit shuts off room stays cool with the fan blowing air around. 78 degrees is comfortable enough for me not too cold but feels nice maybe when weather is hotter I will lower the temperature.
