Posted .We're sorry your new microwave arrived damaged. This is a counter top microwave and is not designed for a built-type of installation. We recommend a minimum of 3" of air clearance on each side and at the top as well as 1" clearance in the rear to ensure safe and reliable operation.

UPS experience was awful

Initially, the delivery was delayed several days. UPS first attempted to deliver to a business at 6 AM, despite the email stating the delivery window was between 11 AM and 2 PM. Then, there were weather-related delays, not sure where but not in our area, followed by unspecified delays. When the microwave finally arrived, it appeared as though it had been mishandled! Consequently, we had to return the damaged microwave.

Worked great...for 3 1/2 months

Was popping a bag of popcorn and about a minute in, it just quit working. It is less than 4 months old. I'm working with GE on how to get it replaced. Will see how it goes.

Originally purchased a 2.2 cu.ft GE microwave but when picked up was told the door would not open. Just a Big Problem for me. I then purchased the 2.0 cu.ft. and had to drive 12 miles to pickup. Once we arrived home and installed found the same issue. Door wouldn't open. So that's 2 different GE Microwaves and 2 door issues. Couldn't believe the luck on that issue. Returned the 2nd GE Microwave.

Trim kit did not fit this oven, even though description seemed to indicate it would. Very confusing and many trips to store.

Posted .This microwave is designed for countertop installation only. It does not have a compatible trim kit. It is not approved to be built in. We are sorry for the confusion. Model PCWK22U1WDD can be installed with a trim kit. The trim kit required to get the Stainless look is either JX7227SLSS, or JX7230SLSS. Joyce@GEAppliances
