Aesthetically pleasing, quiet and all functionality is simple to operate

This washer/dryer set is great! I was torn between this and a much bigger one. I was worried the capacity for this wouldn't be big enough. The last stackable I had was a super compact one that would wash 1 pair of jeans and a couple shirts. The first load I did in the Spacesaver, I jammed as much big, heavy stuff in as I could. I was pleasantly surprised. It was easy to install and doesn't take up all the space in my laundry area. Some reviews have said that it is loud. I would disagree. The dryer doesn't have an annoying buzzer when it's finished. It just turns off. Big plus!!

Was really satisfied with the product until used heavy cycle to wash some blankets. It leaks massively! Scheduled and exchange thinking that would solve issue. 2nd machine still leaks! All cycles on a washer should work.

The reason I purchased this set was because my much loved Maytag of many years finally died and I needed to replace it with a set that would fit my space and this product was the only one I could find at the time (March, 2018). First the positive: Washer works fine except it is much slower than what I am used to and the final spin extracts water so much that it often leaves clothing crimped with deep wrinkles. The negative: The dryer works overall satisfactorily with the drying but I am very frustrated with the dryer's lint trap which is very poorly designed. First, It does not catch all of the lint (and I clean the lint trap each time) and when you open the dryer door, bits of lint always fly out into the air. Then, when you slide out the lint trap panel to empty it, more lint flies out into the air and it does not catch all the lint in the trap. Bits of lint remain inside the lint bin and around the outside of the trap. VERY FRUSTRATING! The second thing I don't like is there is no buzzer or sound alarm letting you know when the drying is finished. How ridiculous is that?! As a result, I often go to check on it and find the clothing has been sitting for quite awhile, requiring a "dewrinkle". How energy efficient is that?! Would I recommend this system? Only if you can find nothing else to fit your space.

Size of washer basket smaller than my last washer but only slightly. Does a good job and has many more settings.

We recently purchased a new home and purchased several appliances from the two big box home improvement stores. The dates they provided with the purchase changed dramatically - extending over a month past what the original provided, when they delivered they left a damaged range, and an unlevel dishwasher that has to be reinstalled. The delivery teams were very unprepared and unprofessional. With one purchase remaining we decided to try Best Buy. The pricing was competitive, they scheduled the work promptly and maintained that commitment, they had amazingly polite installers and the product is operating as expected. (With the damaged product the big box store could not simply return and replace. They have to return first. We will be purchasing the range from Best Buy.

This laundry center is great! I was hesitant about purchasing due to reviews about noise during the spin cycle, but I do not find that it makes any excessively loud noise. Delivery and installation was quick and done professionally... my laundry center was delivered with a small dent in the lower bottom portion of the washer, but I was offered a small compensation in the form of a gift card and/or the option of replacing it with a new one. My only complaint is that I am not able to wash or dry a comforter - its just too small for that.. but towels, sheets, blankets, etc. have all been fine.

Good washer/dryer combo for closet in Condo. Like top loader vs front loader. Agitator can be heard when washing but spin cycle fairly quiet.

The delivery, installation and purchase process were completed in excellent ways and pleased me as customer of Best Buy for years, Great job on everything done with these items.

The dryer didn't on the first unit, but a second one was installed a few days later. It is louder then i would like. Within one week, the gasket on the dryer door came loose, but a repair man came within a week.

I received the GE 2.3 Cu. Ft. Top Load Washer and 4.4 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer Laundry Center as a gift from my mother in March 2021, with a 5-year Geek Squad Protection Plan, and it has been a nightmare. By May 2024, the dryer drum completely fell apart, making it hazardous to the point that I had to move it outside to avoid the risk of a fire in my home. Thankfully, the dryer was repaired under the protection plan, but the washer started making loud, disruptive noises around the same time, so I had to keep it outside for my family's safety. I’m a stay-at-home mother of two young children (ages 1 and 2), and our safety is my priority. The washer became unusable in July 2024, constantly shutting off mid-cycle and leaving my clothes soaked in water. I had to manually empty the washer multiple times—which has been incredibly challenging and exhausting, especially with two small children and piles of laundry. I reached out to Best Buy numerous times, and while the agents were polite and really tried to help, the whole process of diagnosing and ordering parts back and forth for 6-7 times became extremely stressful. Four months of this back-and-forth, hand-washing clothes, and losing all faith in the repair process led me to ask for a supervisor. That’s when things got even worse. I was put in contact with Mike from out of state, who traveled to inspect the washer. As soon as he arrived, he immediately gave me the impression that he was judging me. Without much investigation, he quickly assumed the washer would no longer be covered because it was located outside, even though it was under shade, protected from rain, and never subjected to extreme weather conditions. Mike sent me a text highlighting the terms and conditions, citing clauses about “extreme environmental conditions” and “acts of God,” which is absolutely ridiculous considering that the machine has been protected. After months of frustration, hope, and stress, I'm now told that the washer won’t be covered because it was outside—even though no one mentioned this for four months while I waited for it to be fixed. This has been the worst customer service experience. I’m so devastated. Not only have I been left without a working washer for months, but I’ve also been misled throughout the process. Since receiving this news today, I’ve been overwhelmed with anxiety attacks and tears because I cannot afford to buy a new washer/dryer at this moment. This whole experience has been awful and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone, especially a parent trying to manage a household. -Daughter

Washing clothes has become so much easier with this machine. Had an older model (different make) that was a nightmare. This is easy to use, easy to clean lint trap, reliable. Two things could be improved: the agitator is a bit noisy and there is no ding for a finished drying session. Would recommend and already have.

We downsized into a condo and wanted something slimmer and smaller. This was the perfect find. Not as large as a full size but plenty large for the two of us. Highly recomend.

Item sit perfectly in the place I have it in. Washer and Dryer work perfectly. I was skeptical on it performing as well as a normal size washer and dryer but, it surprised me after multiple uses in one day. Everything came out clean and drying time wasn't long either.

3 small loads done and no problem. I think sheets would need to be done separately. Good for my needs. Excellent delivery & installation service.

Condo living so this washer/dryer combo works well & is perfect for space saving if that's a concern but equally recommend for any size home & household. Larger capacity washer than you'd think & fits a normal full-sized load. Dryer works well & does the job quickly. Can use both at the same time. The downside: its not a quiet unit.

This washer has been a consistent headache since purchasing in December 2020. On a good day, it does a mediocre job of washing a typical load. Even the simplest spots (think: a small spot of yogurt on a kid's shirt) need to be pre-treated and rinsed before washing. Regardless of soaking time, load size, or other settings, clothes frequently come out of the washer feeling like they never got fully wet. Re-washing loads is a frequent occurrence. On a bad day (like today) the washer doesn't function properly. Right now it won't fill...not the first time it's happened so we have some reason to believe we can fix it but I can't overstate how deeply I wish we had bought another washer. The dryer is fine; unfortunately it is attached to the world's most useless washer.
