Smell gas but plumber confirmed it’s not from a bad connection and even on delicate it destroys clothes with high heat

We have had 3x different versions of this machine come and the dryer drum has been broken each time. We are hoping the 4th time is the charm. Unfortunately given the limited space and gas hook up we can't find another unit...

Because some mistakes in delivering an "Open Box" item instead of Iew it had to be returned and Now because of "Corona Virus" I don't have the Washer /Dryer combo.

Didn't last a year. The dryer stopped working but I was over our warranty by 1 month when it stopped working.

Dryer stopped working after 3 months and now I have to go thru GE customer service.

I purchased this unit so that my dad didn't have to go up and down stairs to his basement laundry room. Great unit for a tight space. It fit into a standard hallway closet. It's very quiet and does a great job for small loads. He's not technology adept and the unit is easy for him to use. Recommend.

There aren't very many options out there for smaller laundry closets so I settled knowing this washer and dryer would not be the best. I went ahead and purchased the 3 year geek squad warranty coverage because I knew I would need to use it. I've had this machine for less than 2 years and so far the lint catcher has somehow flung itself out and broke, and the latch on the dryer is now also broken from normal use. Next on the list will most likely be a check on the screw that helps these machines spin the clothes. The machine is pretty loud already when it gets to the spinning stage but from past experience, when it's especially loud, it could also mean the screw is loose because this machine is unable to handle regular use. If a small closet alternative comes out, I recommend going with that.

overall its fine for a stackable unit but it is so loud during the spin cycle it shakes the walls. I have to time when I use the washer on whether my neighbors below are awake or even home at times.It's that loud!

I wanted to love this so much and tried everything to figure out what I might be doing wrong but have now realized that this thing is built to run this way. I’m a cloth diapering mom and the lack of consistency in this washer makes it extremely difficult and time consuming to wash diapers when it shouldn’t be this hard. If I use bulky items, it will fill the drum with too much water and the diapers won’t be agitated enough to get clean. If I use heavy soil(which is what I’m supposed to be using since they’re diapers and the agitation is better), sometimes the drum will fill up with too much water (same issue with bulky) or sometimes it will fill with so little water that only 1/4 of them get wet and the rest will remain dry with caked on detergent. Sometimes it gets the right amount of water on the wash, then the rinse will be too little water and my diapers will be filled with soap and I have to do an entire wash without soap and manually fill the drum if it doesn’t fill enough on its own. I hate this machine and dread washing anything but most importantly might have to switch to disposable since I’m wasting so much water and electricity on 4 wash cycles when I should only need 2. Frustrating.

I love it. Its quiet. Washer holds more then you would think.

I had read several reviews about how loud the washer is, but I thought to myself "how loud can it really be considering I'm replacing a 30 year old Whirlpool". Well, the answer is unbelievably loud! It sounds like a breast pump for the first few cycles and then it transitions into a really loud jet engine sound while it goes into the rinse cycle. We have our washer/dryer in our living area so maybe if you have it out in your garage or in a separate room it wouldn't be so bad, but we couldn't stand it so we immediately replaced it.

I bought this unit in October 2019. I just had a repair person out who informed me the drum in the washer was leaking lubrication fluid which is a common problem with GE washer and dryer centers. The repair costs will be over $1000 so will be buying a new washer and dryer center. Not happy at all about this. Frustrating thing is that the space in my condo limits my options.

This washer and dryer set is perfect for our small space, and it washes pretty large loads of laundry! We are so happy with this purchase.

A workhouse of a machine with large capacity for a small space.

The agitator is very, very loud. This washing machine is very loud compared to any other washer we've had. It's noisy and I can't recommend it unless it's going into a basement. We put this in our condo and the noise fills the entire space.

I've had so many issues with this machine, have had numerous service calls to fix different problems. Would never consider buying this again.

TERRIBLE! TWO INSTALLS SO FAR. DRYER HAS NO HEAT AND WATER SPLASHES OUT OF BACK. BEST BUY REFUSES TO REPLACE. I PAID FOR A NEW ITEM AND GOT RIPPED-OFF. HORRIBLE SERIVCE. LAST TECHS TOLD ME ITEM WAS DEFECTIVE. I'VE HAD TO CHASED BEST BUY DOWN TO GET HELP. THEY ARE NOT HELPFUL AND ARE INTENT ON STEALING FROM ME. PURSCHASE HAS NOT BEEN DISPUTED. BUYER BEWARE.
