This has been a good washer and dryer so far. It was the only one that was small enough to fit down the stairs of my house. The door of the dryer won’t latch anymore, and it is now one year old. So that sucks.

We basically had to buy this due to a shallow closet for the washer, and this replaced an earlier model GE which we had for 7 years but it broke down three times and it ended up cheaper to replace then repair again the third time. Unfortunately you cannot control the water level at all on this model, the only option is to select 'bulky items' which seems to cover what items you have in there, while other settings resulted in some items coming out still partially dry with splashes of washing detergent still on the fabric - GE's desire to preserve water actually forced us to use more. Just now the dryer has stopped working and is completely unresponsive, after just 4 months. It should be covered under warranty, but having to take time off work to meet with repair person is really annoying. On the plus side, up until today it had worked well (as long as we used the bulky items option) and is very easy to operate.

I must be honest, I wasn’t expecting much from this unit. It was the only size that would fit in the small space I have so didn’t have much choice. I’m so pleasantly surprised! It’s great! Clothes are washed well. There are loads of different wash settings. The dryer is great too, very efficient with short drying times. The capacity is much bigger than I was expecting, although I’m only washing for one person so I tend to have smaller wash loads. Sheets and towels are also washed/dried well. I’m really happy with my purchase!

It is a very reliable and works very well. Small in size so it fits my small space. It is also gas dryer that is very economic.

We were in desperate need of new washer/dryer unit and found a great price at Best Buy. Purchasing from the store was easy and efficient. The issue has come with installation. On our original delivery and installation date the installer informed me that they couldn't install the machine because the water hoses couldn't be turned off properly and that they had to take the machine back to the warehouse. Not a problem, I understand they don't want to cause a flood. So we got the issue fixed in time for the new installation date. I receive an email about the new installation date and realize that all of the parts that you are required to purchase are not in the order. I call customer service and they take care of the issue. We now have a delivery date for the machine and equipment and a different install date. The 2nd delivery team were FANTASTIC. I have never seen anything like it. Now, installation day 2 comes and the machine goes in easily, however there is an issue with the washing machine lid and it would need to be repaired. Not sure why the installers don't carry extra pins and parts with them, but who I am. So now we have a repair appointment scheduled. Mind you...all of these appointments are about 2 weeks apart due to covid-19 and new restrictions with the number of installations that can take place (I am ok with that). Bright side of the rainbow, we can use the machine! So repair day 2 finally comes (after a new lid has been delivered) and the installer informs my husband that they didn't send the right parts. The installer wasn't sure why a lid was delivered and not the pins needed to successfully secure this lid. Installer leaves because he doesn't have the right parts and schedules a new repair date. Repair day 3 arrives and my husband gets a phone call. He is told by this installer that he checked our order and noticed that the parts needed for the repair were not ordered. We had received one item but apparently needed other parts as well. So repair day #4 is scheduled for next week. In a nutshell, I ordered this machine at the end of July. It is now mid-September and the machine still has a lid that needs repair. Thank goodness this product is great, otherwise my review would be worse.

The washer is kind of loud and ties your clothes in knots. The dryer is great! Dries really quickly!

Love the fact that it has it’ own water level sensor. Don’t have to set the water level. Larger capacity than I expected. Dryer is a little noisy but overall I am satisfied.

Fits neatly in my laundry closet, easy access to dials and into tub for those shorter in stature. Runs quietly, and the clothes come out of the washer rung out really well, so drying takes less time. After I finally resigned myself to the fact I couldn't fit some of the new fancy machines I really wanted, I find myself happy with this choice.

Avoid if you can. This has been a nightmare from start to finish. Best Buy sold me a broken machine, but because the warranty is with GE, I’ve been stuck dealing with them. The washer arrived with a faulty sensor lock, so it wouldn’t lock properly and would stop mid-cycle. I’m now on my fifth service visit from GE’s outsourced repair team. They refuse to replace the machine until it’s officially deemed “unrepairable,” but every time they fix one problem, a new one appears. Right now, it will only run if I physically push down on the lid—and even then, it sometimes spins endlessly without stopping. To make matters worse, the dryer design is awful. The lint trap dumps debris everywhere instead of being a simple, clean pull-out like other models. I’ve been dealing with this for months. Between Best Buy’s unhelpful delivery crew and GE’s endless repairs, this entire experience has been unbelievable. The only reason I chose this machine was because it’s the only one that fits in my condo closet. If you have any other option—buy something else.

this washer/dryer is ideal for small spaces. the dryer is fast and quiet however be prepared for a noisy washer

We have a tight space bewteem the water heater and the wall. When our old stackable dryer finally died this one came in and fot perfectly. The capacity is also mich larger than our 30 yest old one. So kuch more quiet and efficient!

Reasonably price item for today's market. So far works pretty well and easy to use

I wrote an e-mail to the Tyson’s branch manager addressing shortcomings from the outsourced representatives and contractors that Best Buy uses. All of that contributed to a long path for two months since Dec. 4 to delivery on March 1st, with dent in the delivered washer-dryer!!!

I returned this item to upgrade to a better washer/dryer. This one felt too small and the washer drum was too deep for me to pull out the clothes one the washer was done. Kept hitting head on the overhead dryer when I would take them out. Felt claustrophobic.

Works great for one person doing about two weeks worth of laundry. Not a lot of bells and whistles but gets the job done for the price point.

Washer and dryer both work very well. Very good if you have a small pace or closet fits in well and works great

The washer is louder than the Maytag we had (also a 2 in 1 unit, older model than this). Significantly louder. The bumper rubber of the drier door started to come off after 2 weeks, I glued it back. Otherwise it's a good machine with all the choices that we need.

Took a while to ship, but the delivery service was excellent. Just the right size for us

This washer-dryer has been working well in our small space so far. While the max load is fairly small, I can comfortably wash a set of queen sheets + a bath towel and everything gets clean. The dryer is particularly efficient!
