This is very good and cooling down a decent sized bed room with a walk in. My only issue is the "easy" install. The plastic washer on the clamp was broken from the start so I had to remove it and now I have a part of the window shield that wont lock. Not 5 stars cause you made me break out my duck tap for a brand new appliance.

Awkward to set up with the vent tube that has to be short to work, I guess. Overall, it cools great and seems to be a very solid unit. So far, I'm happy!

Does not display room temperature while running as described. GE support is poor. Shipped with damaged part and was told I would have it within 7-10 business days. I called on 13th business day to find out part had not shipped and no date could be given after 10 minutes of CS rep trying to find order.

I bought the GE 250 sq. Ft to cool my bedroom exclusively and it has done a great job!

I feel like it covers more than 250 sq ft. The fan also works great if you don't want the cold air. I am very pleased with this purchase.
