Just two words, bad product (

Now here is the reason, you spend ~$290 dollars and you get the most cheapest and third class quality of the exhaust vent kit with the product, with is just horrible to install (trust me, I’m an engineer with the masters degree, with 3.6+ GPA) and design. You can’t just stuck the exhaust pipe into the window panel, because it will come off as it’s too lose. The exhaust hose has apparently two holes for the screws, but the product comes with just one screw, and that’s also with the plain tip (not the sharp) one which you can’t screw know the panel. Second, it doesn’t come with any kind of insulation form strip, which is just none-sense. Third, the AC has the water drainage nozzle but no water drainage pipe? Now you would be like, this is fine, who gives all of those stuff? or how am I even comparing it? Well, I’ve Insignia (not marking believe me) portable AC, and it’s much better when it comes to the Kit (no comment on the AC performance, as I havn’t used this one). I’m going to return this because of all of these issues.

Great for home office

Previous reviews said it was ‘noisy’ but I was able to conduct many conf calls while working from home without anyone commenting about it...and it was less than 5’ behind my chair. Used for temporary cooling during early July in GA when central air broke and repair took over 1 week to complete. No complaints at all!

My office is about 200 sqft, so it’s pretty small! The AC cools my room super quick! I love it! Best part is you can set the AC to stop at any temperature you choose to put! The only con would be it’s sort of loud. But you can choose the speed to your liking. The higher the speed the louder it is.
