    Ridiculously stupid window vent design impossible to get good seal Seen videos of different brands with better design Not exactly portable because you have to seal window with insulation and tape Compare brands in store inspecting window vents

    The air conditioner has a built in eco setting that shuts it down when it thinks it has reached the cooling setting. I like for the fan to continue to run until the next compressor cycle. I returned it and bought the Insignia which I prefer better.

    does not cool room even after hours of usage. It's so loud it's impossible to sleep near it.

    This ac unit is rated for 250 sq ft and our bedroom is about 200 sq ft. We closed the door, put a towel at the bottom of the door to keep in the cool air and made sure the window was sealed tight. The unit barely cooled off our bedroom, it helped a bit but honestly not by much. The biggest issue we had is that it made our room stink! It smelt like farty sewage. It was unbreathable! Returned it immediately.

    Usage on electric is high, my electric bill was higher using product. GE- 250Sq.Ft didn't meet my expectations. Didn't supply enough cooling in smaller room.

    Bought this as I needed something to help cool down my sun room. It kept on popping up with a discounted price. Arrived fast, I did turn it on and tested it, and it did not seem that noisy. After a few weeks installed it and just now that I am really having to use it, I can hear how noisy it is. You can't even have a conversation on the phone while in the same room.

Additionally, since this unit is a portable air conditioner, the compressor will be located inside your home which can also lead to more noise than anticipated compared to window air conditioning units. The noise level produced by this unit is comparable to similar models that are currently available.     Also frustrated as I returned this item only a few days past your 15 day policy (which I was not told about), due to hand surgery, and now am stuck with a credit note. Tried calling customer service and after waiting 45 minutes, the customer service representative dropped the call.

    I've had this air conditioner for less than 1 year, have not used it (maybe 4 -6 times) last summer. It has already stopped working. It will not get cold, only warm air. This is the second GE product that failed me. NO MORE GE FOR ME! I'm very angry at the lack of support I received from GE customer service. I don't want anything with GEs name on it to come inside my home ever!

    You could have it set up for a couple of days and the tube will fall out randomly. The tube is flimsy and impossible to attach. Don’t get this

    I’m very disappointed in this. I’ve had this a little over a year and it quit blowing out cold air for two months now. What a waste of money! It’s such a reputable brand that I thought I’d be safe getting it. Wish I knew if I could get a replacement.

    How is it portable if you have to attach it by a 3 foot hose to the window??!!!! And it does not make the room cool. Only the 5 foot space around it. HUGE waste of time and money. Not easy to install. If you really get down to it a window air conditioner is also portable because you can move it from window to window

    I absolutely hate this thing! Ice had it 30days & already the fan compressor went out completely! I live in Chicago where it’s been 92 degrees outside! I am completely unsatisfied I want a refund

    This thing is garbage. It was great for about two weeks, and now after a month the compressor barely has an effect. I’ve checked the filters, the water parts, everything I can check without taking it apart, and it’s just worthless.

    Worked fine first year. Ive had it for less then two year and last week it just stopped cooling. Just blow air. Check and cleaned filter, check no water build up and still not cooling
