So far great refrigerator. It's a great looking refrigerator and it has plenty of space! Love it!

This has so much more usable space than my old side by side.

Love the sleek design and the freezer on bottom with auto fill ice maker. This style is definitely what I wanted, as it has a water tap on inside of fridge, but doesn’t take up fridge door space in front, or messy drips and spills on outside of fridge. Lots of inside door and shelving space.

We are very happy with the purchase of our new refrigerator.

In the first 2 years and 11 months of ownership, we loved this fridge for the most part. Moving from a Side-By-Side to a French Door is highly recommended if you value maximum fridge space. While the overall cubic foot print is the same as a side by side what it doesn't account for is the useable space gained in reconfiguring that space. The "deep freeze" style of the freezer section has the fear of losing what is in it and having to dig around. While that could be true, the reality is it isn't that deep. I highly recommend foregoing the "thru the door" water dispenser as the ice maker takes up considerable space in the fridge compartment, in the end this particular fridge didn't make it to the 36 month, as some mechanism failed in the water dispensing and ice making process. Unfortunately, on our end there was a mix up with BestBuy support in 2022 when we made the purchase and instead of getting a rebate for a delivery issue, our 5 year warranty was cancelled. So any repairs to this 3 year old fridge would not be covered. To save time and effort of running into a limited parts availability issue due the newness of this particular product, BestBuy helped us out in giving us a one time swap of a fridge of our choice, giving us the ability to then purchase another warranty. We did opt for a different brand as this GE replaced our first GE Side-By-Side that lasted 10 years, in which the compressor was slowly going out. It had a whine that sound like a whale giving birth. We endured for 3 years and decided it was time to swap it out before it just died as the compressor cost was not worth it. Not having through the door water dispensing is quite frustrating for most of the options that exist for French Door fridges, as it is fine for just filling up a glass. However, anything larger is quite the process and pain. The spout is quite high on the interior, so you cannot rest a jug/pticher on the fridge without making a mess, requiring it to be held right up to the spout. The brand we ended up going with maintained the ice in the freezer compartment, but also gave us a hybrid "thru the door" water dispenser option that utilizes a dual latch system, one for access to the Beverage Center where the water dispenser is accessed, as well as, canned or bottle drinks can be stored and another latch that opens the full fridge door. The Beverage Center also easily lets you fill anything with filtered water and is the perfect height for gallon pitcher with included ledge to rest it on. Outside of the water dispensing issue of this GE fridge, our handles over time became loose. There wasn't a set screw once they slide and locked into place, so I'm guessing this was always going to happen. Ours was stainless steel like the first GE SxS we had, but that one had a set screw for the handles. An annoyance we had with the fridge was the ice maker. If by the sheer luck you open the freezer section and the ice is finished, it will still dump the ice even though the bucket is not in place. I bought a lottery ticket, but apparently my luck with this happening with our fridge never translated into monetary luck, so I guess it was a curse. It was annoying, but easy to get the ice behind the freezer drawer. And you could still close the freezer drawer if this happened, but that wasn't ideal to keep it as eventually you would not be able to. I can only give this fridge 2 stars as we reached a fail rate so early on and limited parts availability at that time. Over the replacement, I did like how much more room there is on the GE Doors for storage and we utilize leftovers, so the meat, veggie, and wide drawer were enough for our needs. The newer fridge is configured a little differently, so it took some getting used to. I prefer the GE's interior design, but the trade off is easer access to the water filter not being tucked up into the right-hand side ofd the fridge and having to move things out of the way. Now it is in between the drawers front and center.

Really like this refrigerator but when it cools sometimes it sounds like a mini racetrack of cars zooming around or a mini airplane landing inside? But like the design and simple features!

Tons of room. It's hard to find a refrigerator without the ice/water in the door, which I did not want because of the space it steals from the inside. This tiny little water dispenser inside is great and leaves room to spare.

We have only had our fridge for not a full month, but I really like the storage space in the doors. The ice machine keeps the well ice stocked.

Happy with this purchase. We just need to get someone out to do the water install and we weren’t expecting that.

The GE refrigerator replaces a similar one we had for 7+ years that was manufactured by LG so repairs are problematic. We love the amount of space both in the refrigerator and freezer compartments. The fingerprint proof exterior always looks like new. We did not want a refrigerator with an ice/water dispenser on the door because dependability would likely have been an issue.

Glad to be able to replace the broken fridge within a short timeframe. The fridge is good. The installation was quick and precise besides forgetting to drop the feet to prevent the fridge from rolling forward. Wish the ice Bucky in the freezer doesn’t take up that much space!

I love it very nice refrigerator works fine, perfect size

This fridge kind of sucks. The design is just bad. You cannot open the very small, meat/cheese tray without the doors of the fridge being completely wide open. The Freezer door demands that it must slide out with the interior top drawer, along with the bottom drawer, together making opening it much heavier than necessary. The shelves, drawers, all feel flimsy and cheap. No where to put butter, no where for fruit if you actually eat vegetables and use both vegetable drawers. I dont know why the compartments for vegetables have gotten smaller, but on this one, they are. I would barely even give this fridge 3 stars...

I have had this fridge since Labor Day weekend of 2023. The fridge itself has been wonderful. Not a single compliant there. The only issue I have had is that the ice maker has not worked/frozen up on me multiple times since the date of purchase. It felt like it happened every 30 days or once a month where I had to play with it and try to get it to work again. Maybe I just got a dud ice maker or sensor. I'm not quite sure but other than that, this is a beautiful fridge and has been awesome. Would receive 5 stars if the ice maker wasn't an issue.
