If using precise fill you must load the washer first and then start. It will lock as soon as you press start. The other fill options allow you to load clothes as the machine adds water.

Bottom base washer

It does not have an option to spin clothes again, it does not allow you to add clothing once the lid locks-if you do- it restarts the load. It is all base options. We had it for a week and traded for the model above it, which I highly recommend as a no fuss washer with limited extras. I don’t need or want a fancy washer but this was just under what I think is standard. While the drum is a great size, it stands tall, it looks really sharp with the dryer but this particular model is below the standard settings I like.

Perfect for those looking for an old-school machine with basic features and a agitator. Clothes wash well, but the spin cycle clocked in at 15 minutes! I recommend this machine, but you might want to look at the model above this one for HE features and added rinse cycles.

Does The Job

It is not the quietest washer, but turn the tv up a couple bars and it's ok. The washer is off the hallway really close to living room, so it's not like it's downstairs and you have to turn the tv up.
