I moved into a new home and wanted a machine that just got the job done. This machine is not worth the money paid as it was extremely noisy and vibrated very loudly. I washed a pillow on my old machine and had no problem. I washed the same pillow in this machine along with a few towels to balance the load and you would have thought the machine was going to walk out the room. Even just the agitator was very loud. I have had GE many years ago and never had a problem so I thought I would try it again. Never again. My last machine was a Samsung and was very quiet. This was a piece of junk.

We bought this washer just a little over two years ago, and it is ready for the haul away guys. From the get go, it has been a pain. Loud, doesn't clean well, walks all over the utility room, shuts down for no particular reason and has to be restarted, serviced the lid lock, serviced the pump... The list goes on... Well, yesterday, it gave up the ghost after less than 3 years. I found out from a service tech that this model has SEVEN service bulletins from the manufacturer. Pretty pathetic that GE can't make a reasonably priced appliance that can last at least 5 years. You get what you pay for, and if you pay for this one, you won't get much.

Based on the mixed reviews, I didn't know what to expect from this washer. But I'm pleased with it, overall. It is noisy at times, though not significantly more than my previous Maytag. The biggest thing I've noticed is how much more clean my clothes are after washing. Happy with the purchase so far.

Lots of little things go wrong on here regularly. I have had to clean out the seals from the hot/cold hoses multiple times a year. I have owned this for 4+ years & I am already looking for a new washer.

Ever since the first wash, the water levels barely cover my clothes. I have to use Super Load, to get a regular "medium" wash. Clothes come out 1/2 dry and completely totally wrinkled. So not sure if it even fills up high enough for the rinse cycle. I do not iron and usually hang to dry, so my clothes are looking horrible and i feel that the machine is also ruining my clothing.

This washing machine is the loudest I have ever experienced! It is leveled, doesn't shake or shimmy, so it doesn't appear that there is a solution. I read the reviews before buying, but most were positive and did not mention it was loud. I initially thought there was something wrong with the cycle or the load was off-balance, but it happens every time!! A small load is just as noisy as a medium sized (normal clothing) not pillows or heavy blankets.

after reading the reviews, i thought this would be a nice washer. unfortunately, it doesn't clean as well as the reviews say. I cannot get enough water in the tumbler to rinse the soap out completely. I use the Downy Unstoppables but when I get my black clothes out of the washer, there are white streaks left on. I thought it was a fluke, but this has been happening for the last 2 months.

If I could rate this machine less than one star, I would. It is a horrible piece of junk. The movement of the agitator during the wash cycle sounds like it is sawing wood, not washing clothes. The machine vibrates so violently during the spin cycle, it's like doing laundry during an earthquake. DON"T buy this piece of junk! I'm returning mine.

Unfortunelty we’ve had a bad experience with GE. After having the washer for 2 months it started shaking excessively during the spin cycle. After calling GE, and a week later, a technician came out and determined that a part needed to be order. Over a week later the part arrives to my house, so I call GE to get the part installed and another week and a half to get a technician out...fast forward to that morning and they call to cancel because both technicians are out sick, so instead of moving me up for the inconvience it’s going to be another week to get someone out here. It’s just unbelievable the lack of urgency for the customers, especially when the washer is 2 months old. Very disappointed

Great washer agitator is by far the best thing about it

This is the worst washing machine I have ever owned. The wash cycles make no sense to me, they don't match what is shown in the manual and It's nearly impossible to wash a load where the weight of the clothes is distributed evenly. Hence, the washer makes it's way across the floor almost every time it spins, and it sounds like a train wreck. I'm really sorry I bought this machine.

I purchase this washer based on the reviews but the sensor is off and it does not wash at all. Loud noise when it spins. I am looking for another washer at the present time. This was a lost for me.

This washer died in 27 months after being used occasionally in a 1-person household. STAY AWAY FROM GE APPLIANCES! I won’t shop for appliances at Best Buy again either if this is the quality they sell. Very disappointed.

I've had problems from day one with this washer. It will stop in mid cycle and not spin or drain. Tech came out twice, second time replaced a door lock switch. It did the same thing again, called to set up svc., it is now just out of warranty so they tell me I have to pay $99.95 just to get someone to look at it and tell me it is doing the same thing. I asked about "the lemon law", she laughed. Getting rid of it, no more GE.

ive had issue with it since I hooked it . doesn't wash well now it broke just over the year warranty.
