The automatic door lock for the cleaning function engages when the internal temp goes above 400 degrees. It took over a week to get an appointment with GE. They were here for 15 minutes and determined the control board was faulty. The technician said he would be back in a week. A week later they called and said it would be another two weeks. If you buy this get the Geek Squad protection because if it breaks, the GE manufacturers warranty might be expired by the time to you get it installed and use this oven.

So far it's served only as a huge digital clock with a tiny numerical display. GE does not supply an owner's manual or guide. The oven nicely filled the cavity left by the previous appliance. Definitely not one of my life's highlights.

Also bottom, rack gets stuck easily and is difficult to move, especially if oven is hot. Best Buy installation is horrible. Techs didn't arrive to 1st appointment and no courtesy of a phone call. When they showed they didn't bring the right tools. Installed the oven with door making wall contact every time it is opened.

Especially love how upscale it looks for the price. Sure, it doesn't have some advanced features that more expensive ovens have such as temperature sensor based cooking or fancy oven racks, but for the price it's all I could ask for for my basic cooking needs. Stick with the main brands, don't go cheap on things like appliances unless you want to replace them every year which will end up costing you more.
