I love how this air conditioner works and its ease of use. It's relatively quiet and if purchased with an extra installation kit, easy to move from one room to another.

Venting would not stay attached and window inserts were hard to deal with. It did blow nice and cold.

Great portable a/c really compact and cools my room great a little bit on the noisier side but overall great buy

Owned this AC unit for a little less than 2 years. Worked great the first year of use. Always cleaned the filter and made sure it was set up per the user manual. Summer 2025 comes around and I set it up just like I always do every summer but noticed it was not cooling as well as it used. Also noticed the condensation tray would get full of water and have to be emptied every other day (normally the tray takes over a month of use to fill up). I cleaned the filter once again and it was clean and free of dust, emptied the water tray etc but the problem persists to the point it doesn't cool at all and shuts off. I live in the PNW so we really only use it for 3 months out of the year (July, August, September) Pretty disappointed in GE for making such a poor product. $400+ down the drain and their warranty only covers it for 1 year so I'm out of luck. I recommend you look at LG/Samsung or other more reliable manufacturers. This unit saw less than 6 months of actual real world use before it stopped cooling all together.

I would purchase this item again. Easy to setup. Easy to use. I love that it came with a remote. Cold quickly.

This help when our a/c in our home went out. Very powerful. Extremely easy to hook up.

Works great for double size bedroom in our Colorado home with 90+ outside, keeps inside at 70 no sweat!

I feel like the product does enough to cool the warm air but not enough to make it a cool room. The portion for the tunnel that goes towards the window and the window piece is not that great. It falls out occasionally if you bump into it. Also i have black out curtains so it stacks funny on top of the funnel. I have to take off the piece for the window in the mornings to nit see the sun. I dont think its worth the price but it could be because im used to swamp coolers and their pricing start being about half. I dont have much experience in this field so apologies in advance

Don't buy any GE AC if I were you! Besides a little laud, this portable AC works fine. However, the remote stopped working in 8 months. Some of the functions are only available via the remote. Since it was within one year of warranty, I called GE. After a few calls, they said they would send out a new remote and I should get it soon. After 3 weeks, I received nothing. Call GE back, they have on records of any new remote being sent. They transferred me to another department. The guy answered the phone said "No we don't do AC." So not sure who to call now. Therefore GE warranty service sucks. Won't buy any GE product any more.

Product cools my room perfectly its stays around 75°f without this which is to hot now its a consistent 65°f

I thiught this would be slightly underpowered for our garage that is around 500sqft. It works great!

A little loud, also depends on your room size. Works great and cool the room very quick. Also very easy to setup.

Very quiet, cost effective, and cools great. We have an older unit and this one is much quieter.

Works great. Cool the living room very well. There is no water filter to empty. It is very easy to use.

Do not buy this. Absolute trash. It says that it fits 22 inch windows, but it actually does not. The window piece that they give you is only about 18 inches. They give you an extension piece, but unless you have a huge window, it blocks the vent entirely. I tried cutting it like another review on here said, but it was made of really thick plastic. Too thick for my little box cutter. After an hour of struggling in 100 degree heat, I came up with a temporary solution that was part cardboard with the intention of finding a more permanent solution later. (Note: this thing is too expensive to require a cardboard solution) Later never came, however, because I had this thing on for about an hour and didn’t notice a huge temperature change. I thought maybe some furniture was blocking circulation so I went to pull it out a little more. I didn’t even pull it so far that the vent was really stretched, and the vent came out! As in, the hose itself came separated from the part that connects it to the back, with no way to put the two parts back together unless with maybe superglue or something. I was so mad! I dragged this thing up 3 flights of stairs in 100 degree heat and struggled with the stupid window piece only for the hose to break immediately! I’ve never been so disappointed in an appliance in my life. TLDR: hose broke after an hour and window piece is poorly made. Don’t buy this.

It blows out cold air but the attachment pieces are so frail and cheap
