I like it, but I feel like the buttons are a bit annoying. We have a similar prices Insignia which I feel does a little better.

It is 92 degrees and the air quality outside is an unhealthy 153 today in Rochester, NY. We are inside with our GE - Portable. The installation was tricky as the panels that came with the unit did not fit our windows properly.

Love it on during the day, but if in a bedroom at night, Eco mode does turn it off and on which may keep light sleepers up

My room has three windows and it gets so hot during the day that I cant even be in my room. This unit cools it down in 5min. Its a little loud but it does its job.
