Didnt last long, make sure to get the Geek Squad.

Self evap works nice. I had purchased the Geek Squad extended warranty. Best buy will replace it, then I would have to buy another G S extended warranty or I need to jump through hoops to get a replacement from GE, which requires me to purchase another one and get reimbursed in 8-12 weeks.

A brand that is very reliable. Does a great job. Worth the price. Easy to use and install. Recognizable brand for parts and servicing in needed. Puts forth the performance you expect and more. Very quiet compared to other models looked at at the time of buying the one we have. Variable settings to be able to adjust output as desired.

Quiet, cool A/C

Purchased to replace a unit that shorted out in a power surge after Hurricane Ida. It works great and cools in a few minutes. I like that the vents are located at the top of the unit as opposed to the side like my old unit. It's quiet and easy to operate, especially with the remote control feature.

Not big enough for multiple rooms or large spaces though. It is a bit loud, but what you'd expect for an AC unit. The hose attachment isn't great and could use a redesign. I run it only for a few hours before bed. Too annoying cutting on and off over night on auto setting.
