It was hard to install my insulated sleeve over the hose. These units should all come with an insulated sleeve because of the heat of the hose. The parts snapped together easily and they are secure. I used foam tape along the edges of the window kit pieces to seal the gaps. Buy the purchase protection plan. I’ve had other portable units which have broken down in about 5 years. I like the peace of mind knowing I can get a replacement if needed within the first few years.
