I PURCHASE THE GE AC A YEAR AGO, JUNE 10TH, 2021 AC COOLING WAS AWESOME. A YEAR LATER, AC BARELY KEPT A SMALL 100FT LIVING ROOM COOL. I'M SWEATING RIGHT NOW. HORRIBLE MISTAKE GE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND A 10000BTU PORTABLE FOR A SMALL LIVING ROOM. PLEASE GO HIGHER ON BTU. 15000 OR BETTER.

GE used to make reliable products. Not any more! I paid $400 for this GE air conditioner on July 23, 2022. The manufacturer warranty was 1 year. It died 9 months after that. Junk. I called Best Buy's diagonistic/repair line and I made an appointment to bring it into them for a disgonistic. I bring it in and the Geek squad guy tells me they don't work on air conditioners. I told him that I was told by the person that I spoke with to make the appointment that they would do a diagnostic. Not so says Geek squad. Best Buy needs to get their act together, too.

The compressor is ok but the electrical has a short and get E5 error message. Lasted 2 months - don’t buy this one, so upset. Not worth the money you spend.

After about 1 year of owning this ac, i can day that it has stopped cooling. Even on cool mode it feels like its just fanning. Wouldnt recimmend since its not the cheapest AC

Bought this A/C because mine broke and I couldnt wait the 10 days for a tech to come out and review my unit. The tech spent 5 minutes in my home and issued a store credit for my broken A/C. This unit doesnt hold a flame to my old window unit and quite frankly Im dissapointed in Best Buy as a whole. I bought a pair of beats headphones with the store credit from the first unit. They never got delivered because they were removed from the original packaging prior to being shipped. Its been 3 days and I still havent received the replacement customer service promised making this yet again another 10 day ordeal with my money and merchandise. Best Buy is in need of an overhaul.

Remote display doesn't work. A/C works on "dry" but doesn't work on "cool." Also no way to direct air without moving entire unit. Kept it because it blows cool air at least on dry setting and too heavy to return.

Very loud . If u have it next to the bed or in the bedroom, be sure not gonna sleep because of the noise . When starts to blow ,the air makes lous noise then the motor starts another noise. Touch buttons ,programmable remote ,shutting off when reach the temperature as you set

My family likes it. So far it keeps my living room cool.

Rated for 350sq ft and it took 2hrs to bring 220 sq ft down 1 degree of open, low ceiling space. Air flow noise is moderate. Compressor noise is completely OBNOXIOUS!!!!!!! I could feel vibration on the floor from 15ft away..

I give this one star because it does a good job cooling our bedroom. I'm really unhappy with the noise - it's VERY LOUD. It's much louder than the previous similar model we had. Another fault is the constant erroring out. I've only had it for a month and am annoyed with the constant maintenance requried. Would like to return for a different model. This is not what I expected based on the reviews.

This air conditioner works beautifully. It cools the quickly and efficiently. Especially a room that gets direct afternoon.. Very happy with purchase.

The window AC worked great for my big master bedroom. Very easy installation, takes only 15-20 mins.

This AC does an excellent job!! Saves you money by not running constantly. Full unit turns off when room reaches temperature and turns back on when the temperature goes back up. Very nice unit!!
