It never seems to get cool upstairs with central air. So when I saw this on the Best Buy deal of the day I went ahead and purchased it end it is exactly what I needed.

A/C works on "dry" but doesn't work on "cool." Also no way to direct air without moving entire unit. Kept it because it blows cool air at least on dry setting and too heavy to return.

The tech spent 5 minutes in my home and issued a store credit for my broken A/C. This unit doesnt hold a flame to my old window unit and quite frankly Im dissapointed in Best Buy as a whole. I bought a pair of beats headphones with the store credit from the first unit. They never got delivered because they were removed from the original packaging prior to being shipped. Its been 3 days and I still havent received the replacement customer service promised making this yet again another 10 day ordeal with my money and merchandise. Best Buy is in need of an overhaul.

If u have it next to the bed or in the bedroom, be sure not gonna sleep because of the noise . When starts to blow ,the air makes lous noise then the motor starts another noise. Touch buttons ,programmable remote ,shutting off when reach the temperature as you set

Air flow noise is moderate. Compressor noise is completely OBNOXIOUS!!!!!!! I could feel vibration on the floor from 15ft away..

I'm really unhappy with the noise - it's VERY LOUD. It's much louder than the previous similar model we had. Another fault is the constant erroring out. I've only had it for a month and am annoyed with the constant maintenance requried. Would like to return for a different model. This is not what I expected based on the reviews.
