My old one is starting to show its age. They only down side I see so far is that it’s hard to find the correct hose for the drain should be water gather

Do not buy this a/c thinking you got a 10,000 btu , it's actually a 8000btu, and it's struggle to cool a room that was less than 150sq foot. 2 days after purchase i returned it..

Used in the middle of an Az summer and was exceptional.

the hose sucks.... its not long enough and it did not come with any screws for the hose part to be stable in the window, and I had to doctor up the window slate that holds the hose, its really just dumb, or maybe made for only one type of window? please help me understand. it came late so it hasn't been hot anymore so I really not know if it will work in the heat and it will be past my return date

This is my first portable AC and I must say that I am very pleased with this product that fortunately I got it just these days when the heat is increasing. Unboxing is not that complicated but I do believe that it is necessary for two people to do it since the device is a little heavy, once the AC had been unpacked it was almost ready to use since the window had to be prepared where it would be placed, for this the AC comes with some plates that are added to the window to finally connect with the AC through a thick hose that will expel the heat, I can say simple enough if the instructions that come in the box are followed. Regarding the performance I have no complaints, I installed the AC in a master room and keeps it cool with the fan at medium speed, the only thing that makes me give it 4 stars is that it is a bit noisy but as time goes by you get used to it. It has three settings, cool, fan, dry, each one works very well, it has a small display that shows the temperature and allows the intensity to be raised or lowered, a timer if you want to program and 3 fan speeds, low, med , high. I must say that it is a little big but it must be consider that it is for large rooms because in a short time it can cool the entire room, it has a remote control that has the same functions as the buttons that are in the same AC and batteries are included;). In general I can say that it is a product that due to its mobility and size is a great option if it's required to keep a large room cool. Being able to program it, to have different configurations in addition to the fact that the installation does not require any kind of tool, it does it even more convenient, I can definitely recommend this AC.

it works but don't expect to sleep next to it. definitely loud. the rest is simple and easy
