I'm much more hot natured than anyone else in my family, so this one room air conditioner has been amazing. I'm able to keep the AC unit at a higher temperature for the rest of the house, and use this to keep my room comfortable for me. It was easy to set up, and I liked that I didn't have to block my window with a permanent window unit. The remote also comes in handy if I get too chilly during the night, I'm abler to turn the unit off without getting up.

A simple, effective and affordable small room AC. I found it easy to set up. Controls were easy to use. Perhaps not as quiet as we hoped.

I've been using the GE - 350 Sq. Ft. Portable Air Conditioner for about a month now, and I have no complaints. The installation via my sliding window was not too difficult. All of the included equipment is exactly what I needed. Keeps my room very cool, witht the auto settings. I would definitely buy another one if needed.

The cold air quality is decent and cooled the room, so it did its job well. What I didn't like is the sound, it makes a loud sound, probably due to the blower but it has also a hissing hum. Both sounds were annoying and since I used this unit in our living room it was difficult to hear the tv. overall though, I was pleased with the results and would recommend it to others.

Easy installation. Gave relief to bedroom in back of house when the temps outside were over 100. Moveable and no heavy lifting. I was able to assemble alone and had a cool place to sleep that night.

I live in Southern California where it can hit over 100 degrees in summer + no central air where I'm at. I've used small fans, giant fans, but nothing beats AC. The GE AC unit comes with window adjusters to place the exhaust hose out a window. I had the unit up and running in minutes and immediately started cooling down my medium sized bedroom that has a PS5 / XSX in it. Description states 350 square foot and doesn't disappoint. What is interesting, is no water is poured inside like some ac units. There is a tube where the condensed water (from using the ac) can be drained from. There is a slot for the remote control in back of the unit as well, which is nice, but also touch controls on the unit itself showing current temp timer options available too. While I plan on using this AC in my room specifically, this will also be perfect for the upstairs landing area where the heat stays.

The unit is easy to assemble and cools the room nicely. The wheels make it very easy to move around.

Overall very good unit. Was a bit louder than I expected. Unit instructions are minimal and basic.

This was the answer to my prayers! My 250 sq ft studio in the high desert of western Colorado was getting way too hot in the summmer. Some days we see triple digits here. This cooler was easy to set up and was the cool solution I had hoped. Game changer!

Bought this unit about 2 years ago now. It is great at cooling down my small space. Works fast and i enjoy that fact that I can very easily clean the filters.

Works great! Cools a 12x15 room and do not have anything bad to say about it.

It’s a good machine and would suggest it to anyone who has hot rooms in a house.

It advertises that it fits multiple window sizes but it does not fit without major handy work.For windows that are slightly longer than the main piece of the kit, the slide out space filler blocks the hole where the hose attaches to vent if it cant extend out far enough. This requires you to cut the plastic to shorten it since it cant slide out far enough to clear the hole. The design of the ridges to fit against the window does not span the lenght of the slide out peices causing it to fit horribly against your window allowing lots of gaps. The hose itself does not lock in to the window piece securely. They provide 1 little screw to "secure" it together. It doesnt help to hold it and still allows for the hose to pull away, leaving gaps. Terrible, cheap design. If you are not comfortable making modifications for installation dont buy.

I had this unit for 6 months, and it performed as expected during that time. However, now it start to fail. The evaporator coils started freezing and ice was forming on it, preventing the AC from outputting cold air. It does have a defrosting feature, but the unit would go into and out of defrosting so frequently that it no longer spends time cooling my room which is now several degrees hotter than a few months ago during the summer. During the defrosting, the AC literally shoots pieces of ice out of the output. GE needs to make these things more reliable. Braking down after only 6 months is way too early. I was anticipating 4-5 years, at least.

Best purchase I could have made for my home if anyone is looking for a portable a/c unit this is a good choice.
