The window attachment did not fot. The unit takes up a lot more space than the pictures suggest. It is like a cross between R2D2 and a Baby Elephant. It is too loud.

It was always a loud AC, but it pooped out within 2 years of purchase (less than one year or total use). What's worse is the one year warranty is useless from GE. I would strongly advise staying far away from this particular unit and from my experience over the past few years from GE, perhaps just stay away from their products in general.

It’s a great a/c for a bedroom, I just wasn’t too impressed on the window setup with the tubing feels very cheap

The GE-350 sq ft portable air conditioner is the best value for the dollar. Easy to set up and cools in minutes!

Very upset about this purchase. Had a difficult time installing unit in window. On first use, I started to smell something weird and found that the hose had totally broken from the circular frame that fits into the unit. Totally cannot use it now. Air was not even cold before hose broke, and the AC was extremely loud. I’m not sure what to do now after spending so much money on this.

Works great and surprisingly quiet. I put it next to my bed and sleep like a baby.

I bought a GE 12,000 BTU portable AC in the summer of 2022. I loved it even though it made loud nosies since it cooled the room effectively. I was actually considering additionally buying this 10,000 BTU model for my bedroom this summer. Thank God I didn't. The one I bought and used for only 1 summer stopped cooling this summer for no reason. It's almost 90 degrees and I'm sweating while the "AC" is "on". The "cool" option works like the "fan". No difference. It makes noises as if it's working as an AC, but it is not different from the fan option. It's not cooling the room. It's just an expensive, heavy fan. My LG window unit is near 15 years old and it's still working fine. This GE AC lasted for 1 summer. I will never buy anything from GE. Extremely disappointing :(

have in a room well below the advertised 350 SqFT cooling area. Will not drop temp below 77 - 78 degrees.Unit is also very loud. never again

NOISY, SLOW TO COOL, Compressor is on for hours trying to cool a 250 sq ft room. The air output of this machine is quite low compared to window units, and the noise level is much higher than a standard window unit. I grit my teeth and dealt with this unit over the summer, and lost a lot of sleep due to the incredibly loud noise. I ultimately ended up cashing in on the 1-year warranty, I was so sick of the poor performance of this thing. If you are a deep sleeper and don't need your bedroom cold, go for it. Otherwise, skip this budget option and try to find one with higher air circulation and maybe a less noise. UGH

Very loud, we ended up returning the unit, would not recommend

Doesn't work as a ac will drain 110 outlet and almost trip the breaker nothing for window mounts work but if your looking to replace your dryer still doesn't cool anything close to 64 degrees

Slightly cools an 8x12 room. Returning it this weekend.

The hose connector fell off before I even got the air conditioner set up. Fortunately I had a roll of duct tape so I was able to make a quick repair. If this wasn’t the beginning of an extended heat wave, I would return this product for a refund. Based on my experience, I would suggest trying out a portable a/c unit before you really need it.
