U really do need to read the instructions ! It does hold a lot of clothes and it did clean a twin comforter made of blue jean material but had to wash it twice because it didn't agitate hard enough to turn it. But it did clean it.

I find the extra fill setting is great for them as well. Yes it is a little louder then the old one but I can live with it, I think it works great.

It also has nice other features. So far it appears to work very well and gets the clothes clean. I highly recommend reading the instructions for use.

The washer is very spacious and usually only needs to be run once for the clothes to be ready to dry. Only had a few instances where I felt I needed to rewash something

GE washer and dryer

Now I only do 3 loads because the drum is much bigger which saves me money for my utilitiy bill. My dryer works like a charm. My clothes had no wrinkles and it dries faster..No more ironing my husband's scrubs. I love GE appliances...

Keep in mind this is in an apt., so if it would be going in your basement, garage, etc. probably not an issue.
