For the price, this washer is doing a decent job. Only complain I have is the "locking mechanism" of the lid during the wash.

Terrible machine. Ill never buy another GE. Loud constant beeping. Regardless of whether its being used or not. Lid lock switch has broken twice. New switches wont work. Many many complaints put there with no fix!!! Beware!!!

It was great while it last, too many issues thank goodness for protection plan.

The first washer we had delivered only finished one load before it stopped working. The washer would not fill with water. We were delivered another GE washer and the auto soak knob was delivered broken. It also had a problem filling the tub with cold water. However after turning the shut off valves on and off several times we had to replace the washers in the valves. Best Buy absolutely rectified the situation and delivered us another brand washing machine. We are thankful of the way they fixed our concerns.

With 3 months left on regular warranty, balances had to be replaced. 3 days later, the mother board for electronic controls failed. Replaced 5 days later, then had them eplaced again. 3 days later transmission failed. While Not in use, waiting for more parts, machine starting operating on its own. With less than 8 months of use Bestbuy honored us with a credit towards a new unit. We stayed away from GE.

I don't like this machine at all. It does not mix the detergent evenly, and you can easily see the left over softener in the machine after you take the clothes out of the machine. I have to hand wash a lot of my clothes after washing in the machine because detergent stains are all over on the clothes. No, I don't use too much detergent and yes, I tried it different temperatures. The machine is not good at all. Waste of money. I bought it two weeks ago for the new house and I didn't get a chance to call the customer service for GE yet.

It's a washing machine. Easy to use, it does what you purchased it to do - clean clothes

Ordered this for my mom, when I received it the back would leak from manufacturer error.

This is a terrible machine. We had it two and a half years and it started to stop spinning and then it would fill with water and just stop. We thought it was a balance issue so we'd just pull out clothes and try again and then it would usually work. Now though almost 6 months later it consistently does not spin and we have to pull almost everything out to get it to spin. Read reviews and this is a common issue with this machine. I would highly recommend not getting it.

Agitation device seems very slow and if clothes are real dirty they may not get cleaned

I bought this washer on 1/6/2018. It flooded and I traded it through Best Buy within a week. The new washer has had the same issue over and over again. The machine turns off mid cycle and won’t drain. GE has sent out to 2 different repair men to “fix” the machine. We’ve had the motherboard replaced once and the locking mechanism 2 times. It works for a short time only to have the same issue reoccur. GE is no longer any help as we’re out of the one year warranty.

Tub begin to rust within the first 2 months...even with the best care.

The agitator moves in short LOUD bursts and causes items like sheets to tangle and put the spin cycle off balance and it knocks the tub causing me to pause the cycle and detangle the load to spin. VERY POOR OPERATION

Washing machine was defective. It made this awful grinding noise . I returned it & bought a Maytag instead. This is first time ever buying a GE washing machine.Bad experience

This washer is a waste of money, it vibrates my whole house, tried returning it, but bestbuy wouldn't take it back and insisted that its normal to vibrate the house.

Easy to use but difficult to open lid during cycle.

Agitation is very loud and noisy. Otherwise it’s okay.

This thing vibrates/moves all over the floor in spin cycle and the drum hits the sides of the washer (with a big BANG, BANG, BANG) as it spins and you can see the sides of the washer bow out as it hits the sides.
