Pump broke on washer after two years!

Bought my washer in May of 2017 and just had a appliance repairman come and look at my washer as it would not drain the water and couldn't get it to reset. He said it was the pump and would cost $220 to fix it. I asked him his opinion and he said he didn't think it was worth fixing it. I paid around $560 for washer. I didn't get a warranty, but never thought my washer would break in two years. I really liked the washer, but now I have to get a new one.

    Terrible Machine

This machine cannot take even half a load of wash. During it's spin cycle, the vibration is extreme and very noisy. We even had Geek Squad examine the machine to which we got "that is how these machines are". I have never had this problem with any other washing machine I have ever owned. Exchanged it for a Whirlpool. This machine is not worth the money, get a Whirlpool or a Maytag instead. Terrible product.

Nothing real special about this Washer. I like the easy settings and large drum inside for the clothes. However, nothing many other washers don't have. Pretty good for the relatively low price I suppose.

I wanted the old school washing machine which would turn and twist my clothes around and this machine looks like it does but it doesn't. The way it works is quite hard to explain. There is no friction or back and forth motion just swirling in one directions with vibration. I would have returned it back to the store if I had a truck to return it. DONT BUY THIS YOU WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Hello 1fearGod - this is Nancy at GE Appliances and I am happy to help you. Your washer offers the dual-action agitator which provides powerful reversing wash action to rotate your laundry for a thorough clean every time. If your clothes are getting tangled, try to avoid mixing heavy items with light items, avoid putting too many or too few items in the washer, make sure you set the proper water level, avoid wrapping clothes around the agitator, and be sure your water is hot too hot for the fabric. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us! GE_Appliances

I bought this washer 2 years ago and in the past couple of months I have had nothing but problems with it. I called on 3 different occasions because the loads haven't been draining and they always say their is nothing wrong with the washer. Now the washers keeps beeping with the lights turning on and now it won't wash at all it keeps putting water in the washer I had to disconnect it.

This washer doesn’t clean as well as others in the same price range. We thought the agitator would help but seams like it does the opposite. We currently have to wash most of our clothes twice to remove all soap. We had to go back to liquid and use about a teaspoon of soap at the most and still wash clothes twice.

I bought a better machine. I did not like the GE. It made a lot of noise and made my floor shack. I returned it and bought a Whirlpool,

Hello Mstone - this is Nancy at GE Appliances. We are sorry to hear that you had difficulty with your new washer. If it will not go through the rinse or spin, we recommend first checking that the cold water supply is turned on. Also, check that the drain hose is installed properly. If it is not, then a filling/draining at the same time condition could occur and therefore the washer won't go through the rinse and spin cycle. I hope this helps! We appreciate your feedback! We leveled washer n had it hooked up perfect and all was good until I used it. The washer would spin wildly and moved all around on my floor . Then it would leak from under the washer because when it was spinning wildly, the water would come over the sides of the tub and leak out. I called G.E. Corp. and they could send someone out in Two weeks!

First off dent in the side when opened. Then the thing wouldn't shut off.think the timer was bad. This was the first day, would ring out and start all over. Put the kenmore back in and trying to ride it out. It's 15 years old, apparently don't make them like they used too, lol. Customer service was good, should of gave me something for my waste of time though.

I wanted a washer that I could tell it how much water to put in the tub. I didn't want dry clothes coming out of the washer. While I can tell it how much water, I have also had to have it repaired twice. The service people were great. The second time it took over 5 weeks to get the part in.
