Amazing washer! Good capacity, quieter than our old (15 yr old) machine. This machine has a variety of wash cycles including bulky item which is very useful. I love that it gaze an agitator and knobs. Many new machines are too finicky with the button pressing. I just want some knobs and a clean load. This washer does a great job cleaning clothes. It HE and uses less water and electricity but still agitates and was very well. Recommended.

Really nice washer. Bigger than our previous one. I read many comments about it being really noisy, but I don’t think it’s any louder than our old whirlpool. Its noises are definitely different but not louder and it’s in a laundry room with closed doors so no issue. It’s a little finicky about unbalanced loads but you just pause it and it’ll unlock so stuff can be shifted. All together I’m happy with this purchase.

My washer purchase was a little unexpected so my budget was tight. I wasn't sure I would get a quality washer for the price. However, I am quite impressed with my purchase. It washes well and takes much less time than my previous washer. It also spins stuff out so well that my clothes take less time to dry.

Love this machine! Allows we to choose how to wash a load! Does not think it is smarter than me, does not dictate to me! Cleans the clothes exceptionally well and after the final spin, the clothes are almist dry, it has dramatically reduced the dry time in my dryer! My daughter visited and saw how well it handles, she got rid of her expensive, smarter than you machine and bought the same GE! She is happy and amazed at how much cleaner her clothes come out!

I am giving it 4 stars so far. Have only Had it about a month and was looking for a cheap or mid price Machine makes noise like any HE washer but spins good and you can adjust the water fill if you want. Could have gotten a LG or Samsung for about the same Price but they both have bad reviews. If it lasts five yrs will be happy as all appliances don’t Last 15-20 yrs like they used to.

Was looking for a washer more like the kind they used to make. Not the newer ones. Heard to many horror stories about those. Did research and saw this one online and actually my sister told me she has it as well. Turns out she had bought it after having several different kinds. She said it was as close as she could find to the older models as well. So far I am happy with it. It does take some getting used to I will admit. Water level doesn’t go as high as the old washers do, it spins really fast and in the beginning it go unbalanced very easily but I think we figured that part out...knock on wood.

Had for a couple months now and have no complaints. The water may not completely cover the clothes and I was skeptical about this at first, but everything has always come out wet and clean. I’ve been using regular liquid detergent that I put in first and then add the clothes. This washer does make some interesting noises but it is not loud by any means. Anyone complaining about that either has super sensitive hearing or is just a whiner. It’s a machine spinning and churning your clothes, it’s gonna make some noise.... I haven’t fully stuffed it yet, only about 3/4 and had fill line to max and it was fine. I recommend this to anyone who doesn’t want to spend a million dollars on all the other fancy ones that do the same exact thing.

Makes a bit more noise than I expected but does a good job. Simple and easy to use. Not a bunch of knobs, buttons and sensors to go out. Ordered online .. picked up at warehouse. Very smooth.

My wife loves it. She is old school and was very optimistic about a new washing machine. After a long afternoon of online shopping we chose this GE machine at Best Buy. They delivered it on time, hooked it up and hauled the old one away with no drama at all. It cleans the clothes excellent. The spin cycle practically drys them and it is easy to operate.

I like the simplicity of this washer. Previously had a front load which I will never have again due it's many issues. This washer does what it's supposed to and I don't have to worry about anything else. Also, it fits just perfectly under my overhead cabinets. Specs said it would be taller with the lid open and I was worried it would hit the upper cabinet but the height appears to be 2 inches shorter than the specifications with the lid open.

We first bought top line Maytag washer and dryer. The Washer simply was not getting clothes clean because the water level was too low. Maytag's answer was to use fullest water setting with every wash. That was crazy! Both their washer and dryer was just too high tech and inefficient. Best Buy let us exchange them for more simple to use washer and dryer. Both GE's are much less expensive, simple to operate and a lot more efficient than those Maytag's. You cannot go wrong with these GE's.

We love the fact that the washer can fill up with water while lid is up, our last replacement did not. I like to make sure my soap is mixed well before I start to load my clothes. Also, the last replacement was very noisy- this machine's sound level is very reasonable. It fits a large thick blanket & towels and it washed very well! The last replacement did not have an agitator-it sucked, so we returned it and bought this washer. We definitely feel the agitator is a must and so far, highly recommend this washer!

I have owned this washer for almost a year and am mostly happy with it. A few quirks, the lid locks during spinning so if you need to open it you have to end the cycle. If the lid is even slightly open, say a clothing item sitting on top of the washer is accidentally partially caught under the lid, the wash cycle won’t progress and the water will drain. And don’t even think about overloading the washer. But I do appreciate the variety of cycle options

1st and 2nd wash were accompanied by a horrific sound, like someone banging on a metal pan! Lady at the GE Help Line told me that's how it is supposed to sound. (Really?!) She Was very nice, though. But how can a company feel good about rolling a new machine off the assembly line that sounds like that! You could fall asleep hearing my former, Yes--45 YR. OLD Maytag's gentle surging. (Of course, had to be serviced a couple of times. And later on, no parts avail.) If this new GE were in a multi-complex, we would be told to get rid of it. Didn't Think to look up noise factor beforehand. That info was not in what I had researched. Many others pointed out the noise. OK. Have done a couple of other bigger loads. And am not sure I hear that. SO the noise problem is still on hold. How does it wash? It seems to do a good job. One thing for sure, it spins them very well! Ask me in a couple of months how it's going. During Covid, and there are only 2 of us, am not doing a lot of wash. I have to laugh when I read in the paperwork, how I should enjoy a good 10 years out of this washer! I Had looked at the Maytag for a little more money. I wanted a low-key, simple washer, and those 2 were similar.

I really like this washer. It has a deep water rinse and I can open the lid while it's filling with water to add soap. It also agitates. I don't like the front load washers that just slap your clothes together and call them "clean". The downside to this washer is the noise. It is a very noisy washer. But of you can stand the noise it's a great washer for the price

A larger capacity than the outside leads you to believe. The water levels are very controllable with multiple level adjustments. The center agitator cleans the clothes very well. The spin cycle removes most of the water and soap. A great washer!

Be sure to read the instructions carefully. The lid has to be closed before you start the washer. I like how spacious it is. It can get a little loud even with a small load of clothes but it doesn’t bother me. It’s a pretty good washer at a fair price.

Overall happy with the purchase. It was one of the only washers that was the perfect fit for laundry area (tight squeeze). I also wanted to be able to control my water levels unlike some newer models that only allow you to do the water sense level (which I feel takes forever to fill up). Not quiet but its also not that loud. Clothes are extremely clean
