Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.No problems with washer, other than you cannot increase power and have a soak cycle at the same time as they are on the same knob. My solution is to set to increase power, let it agitate a bit and then pop open the lid for however long I want it to soak. It works but i would prefer other oprions.

When you only have a few items you have to go with large water to get enough to get the soap out and clothes clean

Posted .The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. Using the Deep Fill and Deep Rinse options will add an incremental amount of water to the wash cycle and adds more water to rinse the load. This is very important if using fabric softener. Also, be sure you are using HE detergents only and are following the directions on the detergent for the correct amount to use. Great washer

I really like that it has manual water levels and sensor options. Alot quieter than our last one and better at washing. So many options for the type of clothing you're washing. We've only had it for a couple of months, but I recommend it.

Posted .Thank you for sharing your feedback on your new washer and dryer. With all washers, some shaking or noise is normal. However, it is important to level your washer as it prevents the washer from excessive vibration when in use. When leveling a washer, make sure to level both front to back and side to side by adjusting the four leveling legs. Also note that the more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. Lauren@GEAppliances
Great Machine for the price!

I love the size of the drum and the speed at which it washes clothes. I love how it offers extra features such as extra spin, water levels, etc. The machine is worth the price and GE is a very good brand. The 10-year warranty was also the reason we purchased this one. Very satisfied with my purchase!
