Posted .Thanks for letting us know what happened. Your new washer may sound different from your prior unit because of the newer technology. Seems to have trouble balancing the load, even with a small /normal amount of clothing. I'm not sure I am going to keep it.

Made tremendous noise in the wash cycle. Started to rock and bang by the fifth use. Also didn't rinse. No way just to rinse without having to go through the whole wash process. Repairman came and advised I get a replacement, which I am doing--not the same machine, but a better one, including a front-loader, which he and everyone else tells me is a better style, kinder to one's laundry.

Know that this is not what we would normally expect from our unit and hope you were able to find another GE Appliance unit that worked out better.
