    Very noisy machine, especially during the drain/spin cycle. Seems to have trouble balancing the load, even with a small /normal amount of clothing. I'm not sure I am going to keep it.

    I purchased this machine a couple of days ago and thought it was defective because of the extremely loud sawing noise when washing. They just delivered a second one with the same loud sawing noise! I have owned plenty of washing machines and never experienced anything like this. Wish I could give it a zero. Stay away from GE washers.

      While we design all of our appliances for the quietest operation possible it is normal for your unit to make some noise. On the website you can find the use and care guide (page 26) normal sounds you should hear from your new washer unit.
