Nice washer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Super big. Amazing how much laundry it will hold. Takes a little getting used too, but overall nice. It does occasionally spin off balance. Haven't figured out why it won't kick off, but it will walk a little. It does try to fix the balance if it can. It washed great but if you use fabric softener make sure to choose deep rinse!

Noisy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product for getting clothes clean. The only thing I have to get used to is how noisy the wash cycle is. It sound like gears are grinding when the clothes are being washed. But on the instruction sheet that comes with the washer, it does say that grinding gear noises are normal. Other than the unusual noises its a very good product

Good quality washer!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so thankful to find this washing machine since it seems to be a good blend of water saving, yet still uses enough water to get clothes nicely clean. It has been great so far. We've had it for almost 2 months now. It has a much larger capacity than our previous one. My only complaint would be that the lid locks at certain points of the wash cycle, so if I want to add something after it has begun to agitate, I seem to be out of luck, unless there is a way to unlock it that I haven't figured out yet. Overall though I am quite happy with it.

Great cleaning of clothes using the pods.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We had our washer for 30 years and never even one service visit before it died. It was very difficult to pick out a new one, but this GE with Precise Fill seemed to have good reviews. We had experience with a fairly new dishwasher using pods for cleaning. Best Buy delivered the new washer right on time. The inner tub is much larger than expected, compared to old washers and hard to believe, it held a full week's worth of clothes! Then adding the cleaning pod, some fabric softener, and selecting the right level of water, it has done a fantastic job in the last two weeks. The clothes are actually cleaner, which is hard to believe, but yes, if you follow the instructions and use the cleaning pods, it does a great job and does use less water than the old washer. Have not had any off-balance problems, we try to balance the load at the outset if there are heavy towels, etc. Its capacity is almost twice that of our old machine.

Loud
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We were really looking for the simplest controls with the least amount of electronics. This sort of fits the bill. It cleans well and cycle time is no longer than our 20 year old Kenmore that recently died (RIP). However, the noises it makes are odd...and loud! We have it in our basement which is good.

Steer clear of this washer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If I could give less stars I would. This washer is great to look at but forget trying to use seriously. I’ve been all day trying to spin out one load of dark clothes! I usually have to remove soggy wet clothes and return them one by one to be spun out. Sometimes even that won’t work! I got my stimulus check last week and went right out and bought a new and totally different brand of washer. Regardless this one is only 2 years old, the effort it takes to do a load f clothes, not to mention the time, is just not worth it. I’ll take my loss and warn others when I can.

Okay but not what I wanted.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice size, quiet running, easy to use but I don't like how it agitates - it's almost like it is intermittent. Thankfully I don't have especially dirty clothes or I would question whether or not it would get them clean. The machine I wanted was out of stock so I settled - and settling for less than what you wanted rarely works out.

Great basic washer fir reasonable price.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nothing too fancy; like the classic agitator that doesn’t rip up the clothes and leave the towels in knots like other more “efficient” models. The delay start feature is missing from this model but plenty of different wash cycles. Plenty of room for king size comforter. Deep water option allows for soaking but spin cycle leaves clothes and bulky items a bit damper than other models.

Love my GE washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted a washer with the agitator and I’m so thrilled with the choice I made . This washer is easy to use , without all the bells and whistles . It has the deep-fill option which I love . The perfect size , not too big , and not too small . It can wash a king size comforter or blanket with ease . Best investment I ever made .

Great GE Washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new washer -- wonderful. The old washer would get out of balance regularly and need to be restarted. No such problems with this one. The price was reasonable and it is easy to use, efficient and clothes come out clean. What more could you ask for?

So Far So Good!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this washer to replace a Maytag washer that we purchased with the money given during COVID. Yep, it lasted exactly three years. The GE Washer was on sale for $498 and now has gone up $200. It is way smaller and it has the center agitator. It is easy to run. But it hasn’t even been 30 days.

Large size can handle lots of clothes
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The size is large enough to do a Queen quilted coverlet. It will do two times the size of load of my old regular top load washer. It isn't as quiet as I thought, with it's "heartbeat" sound of the agitating.

So far so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this one since it was the only washer I could find where you could manually choose the water level. While it is true, it is a mystery on how to maximize the top water level. Depends on wash cycle, whether deep water is selected, how long you hold the button etc. Sometimes water goes to the top level holes, many times not. After waiting two months for the item since it was on back order, we finally received it. The first washer that was delivered worked for just a week before just completely dying. However, BB made the replacement process quite easy. So far so good with second one. It’s agitation is strong. Hopefully lasts a long time.

Posted .Hello JJJJ - Thanks for choosing GE Appliances! We're sorry to hear your first washer did not go well but glad you are up and running with this excellent model. To achieve a max fill water level, you can choose "Max" on the Water Level knob. However, to help save water on your bill, we recommend using the Precise Fill option so the washer will sense the size of the load and fill accordingly. Should you want more water after this, press the Deep Fill button for 3 more gallons or hold it for 3 seconds to get to Max Fill. Let us know if you have any more questions! - John@GEAppliances

Great Washer for either a couple or larger family
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.great value, although, it is just my wife and myself, there are times that we have our grandson which more then doubles our laundry. In addition I was told by my mother and father from the time I was about 5 or 6 years old that you needed some water movement through your clothes if you wanted them to be clean, this washer does a very good job of this.

Do not purchase this washer!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do not buy this item! The first one got stuck in some sort of endless cycle, It ran for overnight, filling, draining and spinning..spinning so violently it moved itself to the center of our laundry room and we couldn't open the laundry room door! We had it replaced with the same washer. On the 3rd load it refused to drain! I had to remove heavy wet towels and remove the water with a bucket! We had it replaced with a Samsung. Beware of GE washers!

This is a great, easy washing machine.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great washing machine. Very easy to use. I like that it has an agitator, as most washers now do not. You can select the water levels in this model, which, crazily most models don’t have now. There is the option to have the machine do automatic water level, but I like to choose it myself, depending on the load. There is also an extra spin cycle for those heavier loads. The option to have different soak times, if necessary is nice as well.
