No real complaints about this washer. The reason for only four stars is that is is loud, but others had reviewed on this topic, so not surprised. Just really didn't expect it to be that loud. For an old school top load washer, it does the job, and actually fills the water where you need it. Has plenty of options. I have done maybe 12 loads of laundry with it, and can say that it does the intended job well. I do worry that something that makes that much noise will last, time will tell. For the price, this makes it more of a four and a half star machine.

I like this machine. It cleans well, and it has a large capacity. One problem is that when I wash several sheets in the same load, they get all twisted up together and don't get clean. Sometimes very difficult to untangle. Other than that, it has a lot of settings and I like the way it cleans.

Love this. I have never bought a new washing machine or dryer in my life! And finally had to break down and get one. As a Scout Leader and overall thrifty person (except when it comes to shoes & boots) I always look to buy on sale! This dryer was large capacity, in sale and I had a best buy reward to use, so I spent under $400 for this dryer!!! Love it! Drys my clothes exceptionally well, has sensor in it and I can set it for time as well! Very satisfied with it! As i have 2 washing machines and 2 dryers in my laundry room, when my other dryer bites the dust, I will look to see about getting another one of these dryers then!

Easy to operate with lots of settings for many different types of washable fabrics. Convenient top loading and large tub. This is my second purchase of this model and I would recommend to everyone.

I give this a decent rating so far. It cleans well but sure is loud. Took a minute to get used to the new stuff, I’m used to old simple washer and dryers but so far not too bad. Wish it wasn’t so loud but other than that hope I made a good purchase but only time will tell!

Easy to use controls. Four water levels instead of the three I was used to. Drum space seems larger than the 4.5 cu. ft. listed. Nice. Works well. Have had no problems but have only had it for a month. Very happy with it so far. Price to size ratio good with GE quality.

Great washer for far. Very simple to work. Has knobs for controls and no computer so it is very simple. Really big drum. Always recommend getting washer with agitator. Very quiet. Once you set it up, punch a button and it turns on and goes to work. Clothes come out so dry almost do not need dryer so saving electricity and money on less dryer use. My wife loves it!

I've had this a few months now. It works well, though looks like would fill more than does. Also, a bit loud. It does do my comforter o.k. and I'm thankful for that. It would be nice if you could fill and add detergent before clothes. I actually do, but have to make it stop. Many people don't find this an issue, but I've had detergent discolor clothes even when plenty of water if added before swished up. I would like to say I LOVE Best Buy's customer service. They've treated me like they care to have customers, not just make a sale. They've been great to work with. :) Thank you, E. Sims

It's a little fancy for me. The lid locks before it spins. So I cant add anything. There is a 10 sec delay before a cycle starts. You have to hit start and not just pull a knob like the older models. But like I said it is a washing machine and it cleans my clothes. Cant go wrong with that. It has a ton of modes. So pick a favorite and run with it. Haha.

I have enjoyed using this Top Loader. I love that it has an agitator like the days of old washers. I feel it truly cleans my clothes.

Washes well. Gets unbalanced in spin fairly easily. The start / stop button is frustrating and so is the top door lock that is tied into the same button. There is no lint filter or screen built in so it all flushes down the drain unless you have a wash tray to drain into and put a screen on the drain hose.

What a great washing machine. It gets cloths clean . It is very easy to operate and not only that but it also gets cloths clean. One special reason every one should have one is because it gets cloths clean. This machine is so amazing PRECISE FILL= AND COLOR WHITE ON WHITE. The price is right and remember it gets cloths clean.

Did a lot of research on online prior to purchase. This large capacity washer is exactly as advertised. Plenty of wash options and was intuitive to learn how to use. In the 3 weeks since the purchase the clothes have come clean and spin cycle takes out the water to reduce dryer usage.

This is a GREAT washing machine.. Very easy to use and does a great job on laundry regardless of color, size or weight. Am so very pleased with it.

Bought this washer I have had other washers In the past but I was quite shocked this machine is not as quiet as I thought it would be and I noticed the machine gets off ballance few times had to move laundry to rebalance and we are not overloading machine maybe this brand is not at quiet as others shrug.

This washer replaced a 17 year-old Kenmore. We wanted a mostly basic washer, with knobs, an agitator, and no over-the-top features or engineering that would be costly to repair. Overall, this a good washer. A number of reviews mentioned the noise. I prefer to think of it as the sounds this washer makes based on how it's engineered. The sounds are definitely different than the Kenmore. We've found that the wash times are comparable with the Kenmore. The most impressive part of this washer is the Speed Wash cycle. Start to finish takes 20-25 minutes. This is great if you are in a hurry. But that time savings is cancelled out by the time it takes to dry the clothes using the matching dryer, which we purchased at the same time.

I like this washer very much. The inside is bigger than I thought, which is good for washing comforters and bedding. It has many selection features. It is a little on the loud side, but if you have it in the basement it wouldn't matter. Overall I'm very happy with it.

Never really liked my not so old washer, but I really didn't like it when it died. Love this machine, it does something my other didn't, it cleans my clothes! Happy I got an agitator. Happy I got this machine.

Our delivery guys were awesome! They had to install the new washer in a tough place and took out the old one. Thanks! This washer is easy to use, even for an elderly person and cleans all loads well.
