With EACH load, whether small or large, the clothes ball up in a tangled mess which makes the load out of balance. This happens with every load of laundry so I have to be nearby at all times to redistribute the load several times during each wash load. This is maddening and who can afford to go out and buy a new washer every year?

Resulting in soaking wet and soapy laundry. I’d have to stand there the entire wash/ spin cycle and open the lid to rearrange the load, literally less than 5 seconds later have to do it again.. on and on until the cycle was done. Didn’t matter how small or big the loads were,what was in them, or what settings it was on. I tried everything. Could have hand washed my laundry more effectively. Wasn’t a defective unit because Best Buy replaced my first one with a new one and it did the exact same thing. Returned and went with an LG washer, hoping for better quality. Disappointed in GE , but impressed with the in store customer service at Best Buy!

I regret buying GE washer

What a mistake! The new washer going off balance every wash cycle no matter how carefully I load the washer. The washer moves when out of balance and either stops or continues spinning at the low speed. You need to stop and restart the washer and this adds to the cycle time. Who would like 2 hours wash cycle? I don’t like this washer. Would not recommend. Unfortunately it’s too late to return.
