My review is for the washer. The agitator was defective and did not thoroughly clean the clothes. The part was replaced and is still not working well. Do not buy this model.

Thanks for the feedback! We're sorry to hear about the issues you've had with the washer tangling the laundry. We found that tangled, twisted or knotted clothes are usually the result of wash loads that were not properly sorted. To keep this from happening avoid mixing heavy items with light items, avoid putting too many or too few items in the washer, make sure you set the proper water level for the size load you are doing and never wrap the clothes around the agitator. It will leave them very wet. Also you cannot pick up where you left, you have to operate again from beginning.

I found out the store have cancel my Total Tech without my acknowledgment or my permission. Briana store manager. I have been a total Tech since 2015. Stay away from this outlet.

Entire drum rusted while we were away. We had water source off and the lid open. Don't understand how a washing machine drum can rust? Why on earth would you make a drum that rusts???

We're truly sorry to hear that the washer drum has rusted and understand how much of a pain that is to deal with. We do have solutions to dealing with rust in your washer. To minimize the possibility of electric shock, unplug this appliance from the power supply before attempting any maintenance or cleaning.
Surface rust on the sidewalls of stainless steel baskets may be caused by particulates in the water. This type of surface rust can be cleaned off and in some cases prevented by following the cleaning instructions below:
Spray the basket with Windex. (Slight alkaline solution).
Clean the basket with Magic Eraser to remove all brown particulates. Magic eraser will not scratch the basket.
Wipe off the Windex.
Spray the basket with an oxalic acid based cleaner. (Bar Keepers Friend, available in most stores).
Wipe basket thoroughly.
Wiping water spots off after each cycle with a wet cloth once the cleaning process above has been completed, can help with prevention.
If surface rust is heavy, a filtration system may be needed to eliminate particulates in the water. We hope this is helpful. Mike@GEA
