    It has been a disaster, 4 appointments to finally instal the gas dryer, after waiting more than a month it was installed but the gas dryer has a gas leak. Can be the services worst?

We truly hate to hear you’ve had trouble with getting the dryer installed, and now have a gas leak; we know how much frustration these issues must have caused. It’s definitely not reflective of the quality ownership experience we want you to have. We will certainly review the issue with multiple appointments being needed to install; if the installation appointments were through Best Buy directly, you may want to report that to their Customer Service. Regarding a gas leak, we take any potential safety issue very seriously. You can identify a gas leak by its strong, pungent odor, whereas something like a CO leak would be tasteless and odorless. If you reach out to us over social media with the model number, serial number and installation date of the appliance, we would be glad to help resolve this matter with the gas leak. You may want to contact your gas company to take a reading. Our Service Department is also available at 1-800-432-2737; a GE technician would be happy to review this issue.     Water didn't fill to cover clothes, even when using deep fill. First load I got six inches of water, after that the most I got was 10 inches of water, even on deep fill. I returned washer.

    Was damage and returned the same day, the machine dispense water even not connected.

    I think there is a problem with the washing machine. It makes a grinding noise that shifts to other odd noises I have never heard from a washing machine. Soon to be replaced I hope.

    Regret this purchase greatly

    Washer developed violent shaking and loud banging less than a year after purchase (can't upload video because BB prohibits posting URL). GE sent 4 technicians; after the 4th visit, the machine leaked. GE refused to take accountability for this problem and kept wanting to send more technicians and "repairing" it until it is irreparable. I greatly regret buying a GE washer. When I speak to other technicians nowadays, they advise me to steer clear of GE washers because they tend to be problematic. The brand they recommend me is Whirlpool. Wish I had known this before buying this GE washer! So buyers beware!!!

      Good day,

      We're quite sorry to hear that your washer is having trouble with balancing a load and understand how annoying that is. All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.


      During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal.


      When you move the inner tub, you can hear a "sloshing" sound. This is the balance ring. If you feel this is not the case, then please consider scheduling a service appointment. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737. All the best. Mike@GEA GE_Appliances

    Made the purchase 1/15/22 with delivery and install 2/4, that same Morning said delivery could not be done until 2/22. VERY POOR!

    Good product. Had one of these before. We like the chpive of water levels And other easy featured. Delibery ermt smooth,thanks for that .

    The machine was delivered with a dent on the side. The delivery person was suppose to advise his superiors. I have heard from no one!
