Delivered on Oct 13 and it’s working great. Was a little hesitant because many reviews stated it was very noisy but I’ve found the complete opposite. Have done small loads to extra large loads and washer handles them all with flying colors. We are very happy with our purchase.

Posted .Hello and thank you for being part of the GEA family. We're sorry to hear about the early trouble with the agitator in your washer. If the agitator fell off the base, it can easily be snapped back in place by lining up the grooves in the agitator auger with the agitator base then, turn counter-clockwise until it locks into place. If the fabric softener cup at the top of the agitator has come off, it too can be put back in.
Line up the grooves on the edges of the cup with the grooves at the top of the agitator, then push down on the cup firmly to snap into place. If you have any trouble or it may have broken more permanently, please call 1-800-432-2737 to take advantage of the warranty. - John@GEA

I had a GE previously that was about 10 years old and it was much quieter than this newer model.

We truly hate to hear you feel the washer is not cleaning well and detergent is being left on your clothes. We know that would be concerning and would like to assist. We do recommend using a high efficiency detergent for best results. You may want to check the detergent manufacturer’s instructions to be sure you are adding the correct amount – if the wrong amount is added, that could be causing your issue. There is also a section on the proper use of detergent on page 15 of your manual. If you are not able to resolve the concern with detergent residue, our service department can be contacted at 1-800-432-2737 for assistance.
