It's such a treat these days to be able to choose your own water level. I feel like my clothes are actually getting clean now! So far I'm very happy with this washing machine and don't plan on ever going back to the HE machines that "sense" how much water to use based on the load size. I'm all for innovation, but only if it's going to improve a process.

I’ve had this washer for about a month now. Makes a lot of noise but it works perfectly fine! Great for the price

For a top loading machine, it was one of the few that I could adjust the water height. This machine is as quite as my 5 year old Samsung front loader. It seems to do about the same amount of laundry per load. Based on being half of the price for a front loader and should last as long or longer than the previous washer, I think it is a bargain as long as you don't need the latest and greatest.

After having it for a few weeks, this seems like a pretty solid choice. The tub is quite large - it will easily hold blankets or quilts. In fact, it's deep and we are short so it's a little bit of a stretch to get things at the very bottom. There are a lot of cycle options, most of which we'll never use - you may find need for them. I like the ability to select extra rinse and extra spin after the wash, which can really be helpful. Things I do not like (the reasons for the loss of a star in the review): 1. The lid locks during fill, so we can't add the liquid detergent and rinse the cup or easily mix it with the water around the contents. 2. There's a 10-second delay after starting a cycle before the fill begins, which constantly makes me wonder if the machine is broken (it isn't) 3. The knobs and dials are "soft-select", which means that everything behind the panel is controlled by extra electronics instead of just having a multi-select knob. Maybe I'm just showing my age here. Overall, you'll probably be happy with this one. It's not perfect but it's a good choice unless you are extremely picky or have very specific requirements.

works as expected. can put a comforter in it nicely or larger load. clothes get clean.

I have to give this washer a 5 star. I am still getting used to the different sounds it makes but I can live with that. Why? Because it really cleans the clothes. I was very impressed from the very first load it washed. It was a load of work clothes and it left it so clean, like never before. I hope it lasts as long or longer than the previous washer I had.

Always gets my clothes super clean. Lots of water selections so can customize every load. Love the physical agitator as I have dogs and one of those newfangled high-efficiency washers never got their blankets anywhere near clean but This One Does!

Like the simplest of all the cycles of the washing machine.Very easy to use and navigate thru.I also like the precise fill feature it makes the water level more efficient on your water usage. Also the deep fill feature for washing bedspreads and large loads.It also features the quick speed wash cycle when you need a load washed quickly. Over all I give this GE washer a five star very satisfied with the purchase.

love it! works faster then are old one, is loud at times but cleans clothes very well, would buy again if i needed one.

Love the big tub and the many options you have for different types of clothing. I can wash my comforter now which I could not do in my previous machine. I am also glad I purchase a machine with an agitator.

Great capacity and cleans thoroughly, only complaint is the sound the agitator makes while cleaning, very loud.

We love it so far. Learning all the cycles and features. Everything comes out nice and clean. Some reviewers said it is noisy but ours is no noisier than our old washer. Definitely a great buy and great washer so far.

This is a basic machine that works well and runs quietly. The 5th star goes to the incredible personnel at the Northtown store and exceedingly professional delivery teams. I had to return the first one - it didn't spin to empty and held water. The store rep coordinated the fastest replacement possible and the delivery team replaced it and hauled away unit #1. This experienced reinforced my decision to direct all appliance purchases to Best Buy. I have purchased from an independent store, as well as a home improvement store and both were really bad decisions

I’ve been looking for a product not made in China and I’ve come across GE washers that were made here in the USA. I bought my GE 4.5 cu ft Model GTW465ASNWW two months ago and I am very happy with my purchase. It has a Deep Fill feature if extra water is needed. I used it only once because I’ve selected Medium load on a large load of clothes. Occasionally I’ll handwash some clothes and I like the Drain & Spin feature that will high spin to extract water from wet items. Of course, it will make noise but I’ve not experienced the loud noise that other GE owners were complaining about.

Great price and easy to use. My husband and I bought 3 of these washers for our personal use and rental properties.

I bought this for my son and his fiance in Sandusky, OH! They live about an hour or more outside of Knoxville, TN - and delivery was still free! They couldn't say enough about the delivery men. They were very careful with everything and stayed until the washer went through a complete cycle. It's hard finding customer service like that. They love the washer! They're not used to having so many options, or knobs vs. buttons, and they love the agitator! Overall, it was a hit!
