    This machine is awesome! Compact with a large capacity tub. Soak cycle, extra rinse and deep fill, all the bells and whistles I need. Clothes are clean, fresh and soft. The sales staff at Best Buy were amazing. Second purchase of an appliance there. Very satisfied.

    Smaller than we wanted but one of the few with an agitator. Seems to perform very well, getting clothes very clean. Really like the soak feature. Would recommend it to others.

    Very happy with this machine. Did not like my previous energy efficient (HE) machines that did not clean well and left clothes with a soapy residue. This has a tall center agitator and many choices for adding additional water. Totally happy with this machine.

    The machine was just delivered so this is a review after only 1 wash load. Clothes came out clean and not tangled. More cycles than anyone would ever need (that's not a positive for me). Pros: You can manually adjust the water level or let the self-sensor determine the amount of water; you can manually adjust the length of the soak cycle; bleach dispenser; several 2nd rinse options. Cons: lights on control panel too small; finished bell sound too low and not adjustable; very noisy when running and filling (definitely not to be put near bedroom, ok in separate laundry room); lid is huge (this matters because I leave the lid open when I'm not using the machine and it's like a huge white wall);

    we went back to this top load with agitator from a front loader. I think it does a good job and is easy to use. The only issue is how load it is, but that is part of the trade off

    Like the simplest of all the cycles of the washing machine.Very easy to use and navigate thru.I also like the precise fill feature it makes the water level more efficient on your water usage. Also the deep fill feature for washing bedspreads and large loads.It also features the quick speed wash cycle when you need a load washed quickly. Over all I give this GE washer a five star very satisfied with the purchase.

    Machine was just what I needed. Large enough to wash fitted, flat, and pillow cases to two queen and one twin xl sized bed. Leaves clothes very clean. Review after washing about 10 loads.

    My previous washer broke and I needed a replacement asap! The deal for this washer was the best one I could find. I wish this one had the glass lid so that I could see it load sensing and then start washing like I was able to do with my previous washer. Overall this things works great. Has a variety of different options and seems to do a good job cleaning everything so far. I have washed comforters and clothes and towels all with no issues. With big items I make sure to set it on max setting. I would definitely recommend this to someone else.

    My washer and dryer went out after 17 years and I was skeptical to buying these new age washers. I read the reviews and though some were negative I went ahead and took a shot with them. I went with this one cause it has an agitator. I love them! Reviews say they are noisy, well coming from the original style washer and dryer they are no louder. At least I know my clothes are being washed and not just sitting there in water. I do however wash all my clothes on precise fill-deep fill. This adds i believe 3-5 gallons more water. Great buy!

    It's such a treat these days to be able to choose your own water level. I feel like my clothes are actually getting clean now! So far I'm very happy with this washing machine and don't plan on ever going back to the HE machines that "sense" how much water to use based on the load size. I'm all for innovation, but only if it's going to improve a process.

    For a top loading machine, it was one of the few that I could adjust the water height. This machine is as quite as my 5 year old Samsung front loader. It seems to do about the same amount of laundry per load. Based on being half of the price for a front loader and should last as long or longer than the previous washer, I think it is a bargain as long as you don't need the latest and greatest.

    After having it for a few weeks, this seems like a pretty solid choice. The tub is quite large - it will easily hold blankets or quilts. In fact, it's deep and we are short so it's a little bit of a stretch to get things at the very bottom. There are a lot of cycle options, most of which we'll never use - you may find need for them. I like the ability to select extra rinse and extra spin after the wash, which can really be helpful. Things I do not like (the reasons for the loss of a star in the review): 1. The lid locks during fill, so we can't add the liquid detergent and rinse the cup or easily mix it with the water around the contents. 2. There's a 10-second delay after starting a cycle before the fill begins, which constantly makes me wonder if the machine is broken (it isn't) 3. The knobs and dials are "soft-select", which means that everything behind the panel is controlled by extra electronics instead of just having a multi-select knob. Maybe I'm just showing my age here. Overall, you'll probably be happy with this one. It's not perfect but it's a good choice unless you are extremely picky or have very specific requirements.
