Large capacity is nice but gets off balance too easily on bulkier items.

Bought this two years ago and it is still awesome. Great performance and excellent value for the price. You can set water level as desired. Quite and efficient with large capacity. Would buy again.

This is our second G/E washer. We like the performance and agitatator feature. G/E was the only company that offered that option. Clothes dry much faster!

Delivery service was outstanding. Wish I could say the same about this washer. From the first load to the last this machine does not spin the clothes to an acceptable level to put them in the dryer. Even after running the "drain and spin" cycle it takes at least 2 full cycles in the dryer to get clothes dry enough to take out and fold. A very courteous service tech came out to see what the problem might be. I got a 5 minute "lesson" on how to load the washer and how government regulations dictate how much water goes into the washer on any cycle. Yesterday was the last load I will put in this machine. It consisted of 2 sheets and 2 pillow cases. I followed instructions making a "donut" around the agitator with the sheets and keeping them away from the agitator. When I saw all the indicator lights were off, I proceeded to open the lid to remove the load. Yet again, the clothes definitely did not feel ready for the dryer. Tomorrow this washer will be replaced with one from a different manufacturer.

this is a very nice machine.. I would buy it again. it holds alot of clothes compared to my old machine. and they come out clean.. very good purchase.

So far this is a good machine, I replaced an all digital Samsung, I’m done with all the electronics on appliances, they are a waste of money in my opinion. Take it back to old school appliances that last more than a couple years!

This GE washer replaced a high efficiency Whirlpool washer. Our clothes was not getting clean or properly washed with the high efficiency machine, and items would have dry patches after completion of wash, indicating that enough water was not even getting inside the machine. This GE washer with agitator allows sufficient water inside more like the old-fashioned washers and clothes is really washed well and smelling clean. This GE also comes with lots of wash selections, buttons, and set programs for different types of wash. We are happy with this washing machine.

I bought this washer for my son and his wife. She said she loves that the washer is large and washes clothes well. A good price for this washer a well.

Nice washer however there are several issues. I cannot just run a rinse or spin cycle. I like to wash out the tub after washing the pet bedding but I don't need a full cycle to do that. I also cannot reach the bottom to get the clothes out. I have had several arguments with the machine already because it randomly locks the lid at the beginning and does a spin letting out the soap I just put in. But it is pretty.

Works great and washes a large load of laundry. It is a little louder than most washing machines, but it definitely does the job as a wor horse.

This is a wonderful washing machine. I use the precise fill every time I wash, and the quick wash feature is really nice so I can do a quick load before I dash off to work. Not a long running wash cycle, it's not needed however, I have used the "soak" option, and it worked as well as I had expected.

Purchased a GE-4.5 cu. ft. top load washing machine with agitator from Best Buy and I am completely happy with it. Had a Maytag Bravos MCT for 3 years and it never worked right and finally had to junk it. Between the GE Washing machine and the Maytag, no comparison. GE gets an A plus and Maytag gets a F minus.

So many settings that come in handy! It cleans my clothes really thoroughly. Amazing product for the price.

This washing machine was recommended over a different machine that we had initially been looking at. The employee we were working with suggested this machine over the other one stating that it was slightly larger and had more wash options available for a comparable price. Despite paying a bit more than we had planned, we are very happy with our selection and glad alternative options were presented to us.

I love my new washer it does it's job. I love how it cleans so well. I especially love that it has a setting for my bulky comfort sheets

This washer broke after 5 months. The water didn't stop running after the wash cycle, and flooded my basement. A Best Buy representative told me they have nothing to do with it since I didn't buy the Best Buy protection (which was nearly half the price of the product), and that I needed to call GE. I would advise against buying this washer and against buying from Best Buy. I purchase my dishwasher from a local appliance store and they have been GREAT. The washer itself was easy to use when it worked, and I was pleased with it for the 5 months I used it.

Easy to use washer, good short cycles, a little noisy.

Only had this machine about 3 weeks. Quiet and does a good job. Not sure why I am seeing small rust spots on the stainless steel drum. Will be monitoring this closely.

Small machine so it doesn’t take up much space and can handle a lot of clothes- not too good for large bedding though.
