I like it pretty well. Cons are only it can get loud bc gets out of balance more than I’d like with bigger loads. Plus price is outrageous with pandemic and keeps going up (many family members have bought over the years including recently). Cons made me deduct a star.

Extremely happy with this water-efficient washer. Does a great job and machine has reliable old-fashion control knobs you manually turn to select the wash programs. This has been a life-saver. We purchased it to replace an 8-month old Maytag (still under factory warranty) that malfunctioned 4 months ago and has yet to be repaired because the electronic control board is on “back order” .

Best Buy employee in the appliance department in Corpus Christi Texas . She gave excellent customer service . She was very kind and very helpful . We just purchased this washer machine. So far I have no complaints . I’ve used it for towels, heavy blue jeans and even some throw blankets. I’m very satisfied with how clean my clothes come out .

This washer is huge inside ! Canwash everything .definitely recommend except the noise it makes isn’t awesome.

It performs well and is well built and quiet. The only issue I have encountered is the lid lock safety feature release time. When you start a load and wish to lift lid to throw in something that was forgotten, you press the pause button. However, it takes upwards of 120 seconds for the machine to acknowledge this pause request and release the lock to lift the lid. Otherwise it is a great washing machine. Clothes come out clean and nearly dry from the spin.

Love it, it is a little noisy but it cleans the clothes great and a nice big tub.

We had a fancy, expensive LG for the last 5 years. When we recently moved we opted to get an “old fashioned” washing machine - top loading with an agitator. We were never happy with our LG - the clothes never smelled fresh and it took hours to do a load of laundry. We love our new washer. Our laundry is super clean, smells amazing and is done in about 35 mins. No frills, no fuss, no adjusting the load because it’s unbalanced multiple times during one washing cycle. I am happy to have a real washing machine again that uses an appropriate amount of water and has a good ol agitator that cleans clothes and linens with ease. I would highly recommend this washer and dryer combo, I actually enjoy doing laundry again!!

This washer is simple to use, has a deep well that can hold a large load of clothes. My laundry spells wonderful.

The wash cycle is extremely loud almost like a manual transmission shifting gears without using the clutch. The noise levels with the other cycles seem reasonable and about the same as our top loader in the basement. GE has videos showing the wash cycle and expected noise due to the recirculating pump. Ours is much louder. If this is an acceptable design then GE needs some new engineers. On the plus side it cleans well and the ability to control water levels is good. The lid can also be opened during cycles. I like having The old fashioned knobs for everything. There is no single dispenser with markings. Instead pour soap in tub, bleach in a hole and fabric softener in the agitator, no measurement help here. The spin extracted water better than I expected with clothed doing better then towels. It is definitely faster then the replaced front loader. Most importantly it does not hammer the water pipes like the front loader it replaced. In general it is an old school washer with a “h””e” Wash setting. If possible I will return it solely due to the wash cycle noise. If the wash cycle noise was the same as the other cycles I would keep it.

Glad to have the full size agitator as it cleans so much better than the low profile agitator or the front loader. Love the quickness of the wash cycle, too. Love the options, especially the pre-soak with several options for time to soak. Have had no issues, but for sure am enjoying the cleaner clothes coming out of this washer.

We have been using this item for a month now. It does a good job of getting clothing clean, and has a large tub that cleans quite a load of clothing. It has all the options I want or need. I cannot judge durability yet, but I like what I see. It is quieter than my past washers have been.

Like it often happens it was a urgent need since the last washer died! Needed a basic washing machine with no frills and this machine fits the bill. Ease of use is great even my 89 yr old mom has no problems using this machine

Does a good job washing, but is loud. If you don’t mind that, its a good value.

So pleased with this GE washer. I wanted a basic washer and dryer without bells and whistles and this one was it. I can fit my king size comforter in it without any problems. So happy with this purchase.
