Clothes get washed and pretty fast. My last washer took over an hour to run a cycle. Also, like you can have deep water wash if needed.

I have had this washing machine for a year and a half and the agitator has broken off. The bolt that comes under the washer basket to hold the agitator in place rusted and snapped in half. We noticed one day our agitator was sideways in the basket. We lifted it out and there was a rattle inside the agitator, opened it up and saw the other part of the bolt. Because of this, the agitator does not stay in place and becomes dislodged. I contacted GE to see if it was covered under a warranty. They were no help. I found it will cost more to replace the parts and have someone come fix it than to buy a new washing machine. You spend your hard-earned money to have a product break that quickly is unacceptable. I do have to say it did clean well and I liked the various wash cycles when it was working. Buy with caution.

My clothes and towels are coming out cleaner. I would highly recommend this washer (and it’s coordinating dryer, too.)

Its American made. Hopefully the electronics hold up. We also bought a five-year warranty just in case.

Plenty of options when it comes to washing. I’ve had it a little less than a month and the only con so far is the liquid fabric softener gets gunked up in the dispenser so it needs to be cleaned fairly often. Other than that, it’s been a great washer, especially for the price.
