I agree machine with previous posts it seems to be louder when the agitator is washing but not as loud when spinning out compared to my last four impeller machines. Like that you can open lid except for when you first turn on and starts to fill or when spinning and draining without pausing machine. Washes clothes just fine and no more tangled up clothes. I suspect it uses more water than the impeller washer but it does have a feature for the machine to decide how much water is needed and there is an option to additional. Only negative is if you are using liquid detergent you add it on top of the clothes so I wait until it has filled for a few minutes.

I waited a couple of months after getting this machine before submitting a review. My reasoning was that I had been so dissatisfied with my last washing machine that I could be unfairly biased toward this machine. With that stated... I had forgotten how clean a top loader could get my clothes. I had an HE machine that was a front loader that was nothing but problems. It DID NOT get my clothes clean, even the simplest of stains. I paid half as much for this machine and am getting twice the cleaning ability. No longer am I having to wash clothes multiple times to remove simple stains and it does it in less wash time.

I really like the machine great value for the price. It seems to get out of balance easily with towels.

I've had this washer one year now and still hate it!!! It HAS NEVER CLEANED! SEE PHOTOS BELOW. IT TAKES FOREVER TO WASH A LOAD. THE TOP OF THE LOAD OFTEN IS NOT EVEN WET. It does not clean lipstick, make-up, cat pee, dog barf, mud, or even leaf dust as in the photos below. My shoes have NEVER been clean. Regardless of detergent or cycle (they all seem the same anyway). It is too expensive to ditch and buy a new one. I regret this purchase!!!

Still checking out all the features. It is larger than I realized and need for just me - but - many options, cycles, water temps and levels as well as multiple soak/rinse/spin cycles. Nice to have. So far it has done the job with no issues. Quiet as well.

Ive had it for little over a month so far its been working great doesn't make loud noise Love that it as the Option of Deep Fill which is a plus easy to use i would highly recommend it

The washer works well, and the control make it easy enough to use. The best part was the delivery, the crew brought it in and had it hooked up in about 20 minutes.

So far, I am completely satisfied with the GE 4.5 Cu. Ft. Top Loading Washing Machine I purchased in late December. I did not purchase the matching dryer at that time, but I am seriously considering that purchase now. I love the large load capacity.

The machine we replaced was a Front Loader, on a pedestal that was nothing but oroblems. It was noisey and would walk around whenever you washed towels if other bulky items. She really wanted another front loader, but is thrilled with this top loader. She even admitted, I was right! She loves all the bells and whistles on it!

I really enjoy my new washing machine. It does some good job and one quickly compared to my old 9 year GE that went dead. I told quite a few of my friends how great it is and how wonderful your sales staff was on the day of my purchase.

We got this as a replacement for an Insignia and this has been a tremendous improvement!

Makes a grinding noise during wash cycle. Have to do extra spin.

I love this washer! It has a lot of different cycles. And it's huge and cleans very well. I'm very happy with my purchase!

Very happy with my purchase. I narrowed it down to three or four machines between four stores. Eventually the choice was made by what was available for immediate pickup. The machine is our first new one in over 35 years and we couldn't be any happier with it.

It works as expected but when it initially starts putting water in the tub there seems to be a lot of pressure and makes a loud sound that I can hear across the house.

Great no frills washer with all the features we wanted. It's a workhorse and we have probably used it hundreds of times already in the year or so we had it. BB delivery guys were great.

This washer has many cycle options and the ability for customized choices. My only complaint is I wish there was more detailed info on the length of the wash settings and what exactly happens with each setting. It washes my clothes very nicely.so I could

First washer we received was damaged. After a couple phone calls, I was able to set up delivery for another washer. The washer cleans well, its the noise that bothers us. Sounds like someone is sawing something. I should call to ask about the noise. Maybe ours is defected.

This is the best. It handles large loads and get this...It actually fills with water go figure that one. Buy it before they stop making them. Another bonus not all digital.

We had a similar model GE that died after 3-1/2 years. The reason we got this was because it fit our space. We did get the 5 year extended warranty. The washer cleans well. And it's simple to use.
