I owned a dry cleaner for over a decade and know a bit about washers. Top load with an agitator and all the necessary options without the proverbial fluff. Well priced if it lasts and that’s the million dollar question with any machine built these days. I rolled the dice on this one and would recommend you do to.

The noise of operation is different and hard to ignore but I don't think it is any louder than the previous washer, I am pleased with my purchase.

However, I didn't give it 5 stars due to the fact that it at times the load becomes uneven, causing the washer to knock. This happens when the load is not very large.

On “Precise Fill”, the clothes are just very wet and there is no visible extra water in the washer. On the “Deep Fill” setting there is not enough water to fully cover the clothing in the washer. I feel like my clothes aren’t getting enough water to fully wash the dirt out and then fully rinse the soap out. I don’t know how we went from being told to make sure we used appropriate water levels in the washers of 10 years to this.

Posted .The Department of Energy (DOE) sets standards for Washer water usage. Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced. With Washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Most Washers are now programmed with load sensing to adjust water levels based on the cycle and load size, so the amount of water used will vary. It is not recommended to manually add more water to the Washer. Some models have a Deep Fill option which adds additional water to the wash load, regardless of whether you used a manual or a load-sensing fill. We're confident that even though the water levels may be lower than your previous model, your items are still being cleaned properly.
