I read other reviews about this washer being noisy. Not any more so than any previous one I have owned. I particularly like the auto fill feature. Pretty cool. I'm sure it will be a water saver down the line.

Owned for two years and the center peice broke just out of warranty. Sometimes clothes don’t always feel “clean” and when washing bulky items and the spin sucks. Bought in a pinch but probably wouldn’t buy again. Easy to use however

We're glad to know the washer was easy to use. We're terribly sorry to hear that the agitator broke and know how frustrating that is. Top-load washer agitators on models manufactured in late 2015 and after (ex. GTW460 or GTW485), are two components: the agitator auger (with the spiral fins) and the agitator base. The agitator could come off the base if not seated properly. It can easily be snapped back in place:
Line up the grooves in the agitator auger with the agitator base.
Turn counter-clockwise until it locks into place.
If the washer has a fabric softener cup at the top of the agitator that has come off:
Line up the grooves on the edges of the cup with the grooves at the top of the agitator.
Push down on the cup firmly to snap into place. We're also sorry to hear that your clothes don't feel clean and understand that concern. To improve wash performance, use the correct amount and type of detergent, load carefully, and select the right amount of water and settings for your load size. Keep the lid closed during the wash cycle.
Step 1: Select the right amount and type of detergent. Follow the manufacturer’s recommended amount for your load. Pre-treat stains if needed. If your washer has an infusor or precise-fill setting, you should use HE (High Efficiency) detergent. HE detergent is a low sudsing detergent. Contrary to other applications, suds in a washing machine can reduce cleaning performance.
Step 2: Loosely load the clothing into the washer basket around of the outside of the basket. Pouring and/or compacting the load can lead to poor cleaning performance and increase wrinkling and tangling. Do not wrap items around the agitator or infusor as that can lead to increased wrinkling.
Step 3: Close the lid. Select the settings for your washer cycle. Several washers can select the correct amount of water. Clothing that floats in the water may not get the optimum turnover to clean properly. Keep the lid closed during the entire wash cycle. We hope this information helps. Mike@GEA

Larger capacity than old washer but just as easy to reach to empty clothes. Reba loves it.

I am only slight disappointed that the installment and delivery techs could've done a little extra not to scuff the washer upon bringing it inside the house. Everything about the washer cycles is great especially its "soak" automatic predetermined timed settings. We really like precise and deep fill, and of course its rinse and spin cycles.
