    The packing was excellent. Very well done. All pieces were there and ready for permanent installation. I had no problem getting it hooked up with common tools and within just a few minutes, it was ready to run. Do be careful of water that is still trapped in it from testing at the factory. It will spill when taking it out of the packing box. After a few cycles the center agitator kept coming off. It took a few times to get it locked into place. So far all is well with it. It does make a few strange sounds and beeps that we are not used to but this doesn't affect its performance.

    The machine does a good job washing the laundry, however it is a very loud machine. Wish I had known it makes so much noise.

    I'm very impressed with this washer. Has multiple functions that you could use for your clothes. The tub is very big compared to the outside of the washer.

    I replace my old GE washer as close as I could, i.e., as many features my old one had re water type, volume, type of load, etc. and I was very happy with what I chose. The load size is more than my old one and tempt me to wash some large quilts, but I know my old dryer won't dry them that well. I have laundered small loads of fabric before sewing them and my usual weekly load of everything from bath towels to ankle socks and have been very happy with the results.... I love GE appliances :-)
