We bought the old Whirlpool, about 26 years ago, and it worked well for us. But figured I'd upgrade to a new washer, instead of fixing it again. Hope this one works as well as the old one.

Its a high-efficiency, and uses only what is needed for the size of the wash (when using the precision option). It also has an adjustable soak feature which really helps for extra dirty clothes, extra spin option, extra rinse option, gets the clothes clean!

You have to lift and lower the lid at least ten times to get enough water to wash a small load. How the sensors think a load of towels will get clean with less than a gallon of water is beyond comprehension. It looks good and appears to have every setting imaginable. It just doesn’t work very well.

Over the years, the amount of allowable water usage has been reduced and with washers using less water and energy, you will no longer see a wash basket full of water. Thankfully, you will still get an effective clean with this high-efficiency washer. Clicks, water flowing, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle. There's a list of sounds and possible causes on page 26 of the owner's manual that you may want to check out. I then thankfully ordered from Best Buy and saved $200 dollars from the previous stores price. The washer came in two days and in perfect condition. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you very much ❗️
