"max" fill is only 1/2 so if you need to wash something bulky like a bedspread, you have to wash the bottom half, pull it out, turn it upside down and wash the other half. It walks across the floor & I'm afraid it's going to pull the hoses out. Auto fill doesn't work at all - the top 1/2 of your clothes are dry
This washer has the following water level controls: Auto, Low, Medium, High, and Max. If the water level is not changing on your water, we encourage you to ensure that your water connections are fully on. Never had a chance to use it. Best Buy installation crew was extremely unprofessional, to the point I had them take the machine back and bought the same one from Home Depot for a cheaper price and the delivery and installation went flawless.
We are sorry to hear you had trouble with your retailers’ install service and ended up needing to return your unit in the process. We are glad though that you were able to find the same unit and your experience and install of the unit went well. DO NOT PURCHASE! The machine looks great but washes clothes poorly. They remain smelly and stained. You cansee the clothes stay in their same spot as they wash. The deep fill doesn’t actaully fill the tub. Do not waste your money. BEST BUY switched the machone out without issues.

Having to wash a load twice in order to get clean clothes is ridiculous. Bring back the old fashioned top loaders. This high efficiency stuff is not getting the job done.

This unit was very loud. The water levels were not automatic and the soap and lint remained on the clothing after the rinse was complete. It also did not thoroughly rinse so the clothes were heavy with too much moisture.

We recommend viewing the article on our GE Appliances website called "Top Load Washer - Normal Sounds" to get a better idea of what to expect. If there is detergent left on your clothes, please ensure that you're using the correct amount of detergent. Too much detergent can cause residue to be left behind. You can also run a "Rinse and Drain" cycle to ensure that your clothes get spun out fully. This washing machine stops if the clothes inside are not balanced. It's stupldly difficult to clean anything bulky beacause it eventually gets more fabric on one side and then stops. Don't buy it.

Clicks, flowing water, gear sounds followed by pauses, and electric hum sounds are all part of the normal wash cycle.
