Stopped working within less than a year
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this washer because we were looking to upsize our 20 year old washer which worked great, but was small for our growing family. I joked when we bought it that it will probably break within a year because things aren't build like they used to be built. 7 months later, the washer randomly doesn't drain water and finish the spin cycle. To say this is frustrating is an understatement. Modern day junk, probably no better than any other brand. Washer is getting serviced tomorrow and will probably start it's life if constant repairs that will eventually "exceed the warranty" without ever fixing this problem. So disappointed with this purchase. Hopefully you have a better experience.

Posted .We want to help you with your washer not draining and spinning properly. We recommend checking that the drain hose is not kinked or improperly connected, if so, you can straighten the drain hose and make sure washer is not sitting on it. The top of drain outlet must be less than 8 ft above floor.
To help with your unit not spinning, we recommend checking your house fuses, circuit breakers and the wall outlet. A loss of electrical power to the washer will cause a failure to spin. To check for power at the outlet, carefully plug a small table lamp or hair dryer into the wall outlet and turn it on. You can find more information on the article titled "Top Load Washer - Does Not Spin" on the GE Appliances website.
If the issue persists after troubleshooting, we recommend reaching out to our Bodewell service team at 1-833-426-3393 to schedule an appointment.

The worst washing machine on the entire planet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer has been a hunk of junk from day 1. The literal worst purchase I've ever made is constantly off balance and now we've had it for a year. It's out of warranty and water is leaking out of it like a sieve. I would like to drag it out of my basement and beat it with a bat do not buy this washing machine. It is horrible.

Good product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works pretty fine for my house that has a huge frequency of use. So far had no issues. Just be advised to divide the weight of the clothes so that the drum does not hit the sides.

Great washer, but very noisy.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does a great job. Only way to improve is to reduce noise level while using. If I could do over again, would look for a washer that is quieter.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love love our new GE washer The agitstator makes clothes very clean. Rinses very well and needs little dry time because spin cycle has completed the process

Very unhappy with the performance.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spinning cycle is designed for heavy loads. Using delicate cycle it ripped my shirt. It has no rinse cycle alone only after a wash. Now I have to look for a second machine to do small loads or handwash laundry. The machine is designed to wear out clothes not to wash them.

Well..........
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer looks very awesome but i gotta say had a smell to it after only a couple of weeks using it and it seemed to work very well but again the smell though made it seem as though maybe just the dryer we had already was way more efficient because without it the clothes just smelt of mildew and had a very unclean feel even. The clothes were very rough and we even made it a point to use fabric softener as we always had but this was a must it seemed. All in all it seemed awesome because the look and features of it not to mention the incredible price best buy offered it for but it was a fail as far as what it is made to do lol.

Posted .Washer odors (like mildew) are usually caused by leaving the washer lid closed when the top load washer is not in use. This does not allow air to circulate and dry out the moisture remaining in the tub area. The air and moisture mixture becomes stagnant and creates an odor. When the washer is not in use, leaving the lid up/open for air circulation will help prevent odor. We recommend searching for the article titled “Top Load Washer - Odor in Tub” on our GE Appliances website in the Support tab for ways to improve this issue. Lauren@GEAppliances

So far, so good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great so far. It leaves a little softener in the tub after the wash, but not a great big deal.

Great idea, Horrible Execution
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this, like everyone else, to be able to have control over water level, temperature etc. (My old one did that too) Unfortunately, all the controls are "soft" They don't stay where you put them. even using the "MyCycle" function, the washer keeps defaulting back to a single rinse and "automatic" water level. That totally defeats the purpose. You have to let the customer control the device, not just try to frustrate the customer into compling with environmental alarmist nonsense.

Posted .Hi there, thanks for taking the time to write about your washer. We're sorry to hear that you're not totally pleased with it. You're correct that the Water Level selection does not carry over to the next cycle, even when using MyCycle. This is to ensure that you do no accidentally put a bigger load in and not change the water level. However, the rinse selection is saved as part of MyCycle. We do hope this helps to clear things up! If you have other questions or concerns, feel free to let us know. -Michael@GEA
