Lots of options for washing clothes! Cleans clothes very good! Has a super deep tub, so it’s good for comforters too! Love it!

Doesn't Spin and Empty Water Well

First time I used it, one of my fingers went into a drainage hole in the tub and sliced my nail almost clean off when I pulled it out. Tried messaging GE, but never heard back before return date closed

Nightmare

This is not a vague complaint about how only old washing machines clean the best, no, this washing machine is an absolute design nightmare and I completely regret purchasing it. The very first time it ran (with nothing even in it), the agitator snapped off. We thought it must have just not been totally snapped together well during install, popped it back on and went about using the machine. Well we got a couple loads of laundry, then it kept snapping off again and again. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that one of the very tiny plastic notches that was somehow expected to hold the agitator in place had broken. After a couple months of waiting for repair appointments and parts to come in, it finally got "fixed". The repair technician mentioned what an awful design the agitators on machines have - how they're both more fragile and much more difficult to replace parts on than most. Well I tried to wash a small load of towels after he left, and the gear shaft snapped. SNAPPED. Not even just a super tiny piece of plastic this time, the metal bar that is supposed to turn the whole thing. The entire gear case now needs to be replaced, and the technician isn't sure he can do it because our house is small and the entire machine needs to be laid on its side and taken apart. He definitely can't do it in the small bathroom our laundry is currently in, so we have to figure out how to move the machine before he comes. **So if you purchase this machine, start saving quarters for the laundromat and make sure that your laundry room is large enough for the washing machine to be laid down and completely disassembled because we're 4 months into this nightmare and it's not over. **

It can't balance and spin itself out. Very frustrating!

This sounds disappointing and completely understand your frustration. It's very important, when loading blankets into the washer, not to wrap the blanket around the agitator. Rather, take the blanket, fold it a time or two, then place it on one side of the agitator. Then, make sure the areas of the washer basket are balanced according to the amount of items inside. We have had it almost a year, and it has been awful since we've installed it. We constantly have H2O suplly issues. It fills with sensing reading the entire time, then H2O supply starts going across, then it drains. When it has actually made through the fill cycle, it gets horribly unbalanced. It sucks!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!!
