We're awfully sorry to know that your washer gets out of balance easily and understand how annoying that can be. All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.
During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal.
When you move the inner tub, you can hear a "sloshing" sound. This is the balance ring. If you feel this is not the case, please consider scheduling service. You can schedule an appointment by calling 1-800-432-2737. Stay in touch. Mike@GEA

It is extremely loud, makes grinding noises, does not have a good balancing of loads at all. You could not give me this machine.
