Glad I bought it on sale
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Washes clothes. Throws a fit like a 2year old in the candy aisle if it is barely unbalanced. Seen the video about bricks in a dryer?? That sounds better than what is going on in there. Pros lots of wash options, seems fancy, and the clothes are clean. Bought it on sale so... it is still okay for the price. I would be very mad had I paid full price.

No issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works as it should. Cleans well. A little annoying to unload as any top loader is. Overall very pleased.

Not quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This washer is advertised as quiet. I can tell you that’s it’s not or I got a lemon. It appears to wash and rinse well but it’s not done quietly for those looking for a quiet washer. I haven’t tried larger size loads to see if I experience the load balance issues others have mentioned. This was not my first choice washer and dryer but it was in stock and I needed a set. I will be contacting BB to speak with someone and get what’s happening annotated in their system because I’m afraid I have a bad unit because this thing has an almost a grinding sound while washing a small load. Disappointing for the price of the washer.

Do Not Buy
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is literally the worst washer I have ever owned. It is impossible to do small loads due to its inability to balance for the spin cycle. You can just forget about doing towels unless you like wringing them out and then running the dryer for a few hours. The machine actually moves across the floor before it shuts itself off. It is basically a design flaw since there are no balance arrestors and it relies solely on refilling and settling of the laundry which simply does not work.

Posted .Hello and thank you for reaching out with your review. We're sorry to hear about the trouble you have had with your washer and are surprised by these comments. When loading the dryer, we recommend washing like items together and keeping small and large items separate.
All of our washer tubs move freely within our auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.
During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John@GEAppliances

learn how to use machine
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My brother bought me this new washer for Christmas. I was so nervous buying it between an agitator or not I looked at consumer reports was out to your place three times. I went other places looking. You had this on sale and I liked the large size of drum. I bought it. the men who delivered it were so nice. I am really not sure how to use it I went in for help but it seems like I just couldn't get anyone to answer my questions. I have been reading my booklet Id lilke to come out and have someone go over things with me so I know lwhat I am doing. Thank you Judy Moyer

Can't wash sheets, blankets, comforters, towels...
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this machine less than a year and it cannot stay in balance when anything other than clothes are in there. I've tried readjusting the weight of blankets and other larger items, but it gets off balance and stops mid-spin. I end up having to drag the sheets and wring them out by hand in the tub. I deeply regret this purchase. Worst washing machine I've ever had.

Love my new GE Washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've only had this washer a few months and I love how quite it is and how clean my clothes are. A plus on this washer for me is that it has a button that allows you to deep fill the machine for rinsing.

Junk
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this washer and matching dryer when our old washer died. Within months the dryer broke and had to have parts replaced that took 30 days to come in. The washer cannot handle bulky items at all. We can’t wash bath mats. It constantly gets unbalanced and resets and will no drain. I seriously may give these away I hate them so much. Not quiet either. The worst. I miss you simple Kenmore with no agitator!!!

Posted .Oh no! We're sorry your laundry pair has not lived up to their name and imagine this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. We're glad the dryer was repaired under warranty. For the washer, make sure the unit is level and follow the loading guide in the manual on page 16. Large items can be a little more difficult to balance so some tinkering may be necessary. Please let us know if you have any more questions or concerns. - John@GEA
