It has extremely long wash cycles and I did not realize until I purchased this junk how important a load timer is Spare yourself the disappointment, don’t buy this washer machine.

Posted .Hello there. We appreciate you taking the time to leave a review but am sorry to hear that you’re not completely satisfied with your washer. We would be happy to provide some troubleshooting tips. Ensure that you’re selecting the right amount and type of detergent and following the manufactures instructions on how to use it. Its also recommended that you loosely load the clothing into the washer basket around of the outside of the basket. Pouring and/or compacting the load can lead to poor cleaning performance and increase wrinkling and tangling.
Also, since you said it was loud, we recommend that you visit our website and read the article “Top load washer- normal sounds”, which can be found in our article support library. It will pop up when you search the title and go to the support tab directly under the search bar. This article will allow you to hear multiple sounds that our washers make and will help determine if a service technician is needed. Needs to be replaced after less than 2 years!!

The cost of the repair is just about the price of a new machine, so now I have to buy a new entire washer machine (obviously not GE). The technician told me that GE is aware of this issue and updated the part in question for new models. Unfortunately, it has been over a year (which it's the manufacturer warranty) since I purchased mine and I'm not covered. Too bad for GE!!! They just lost a customer (and anyone that I can suggest not to purchase any of its models)
