Hard to function washer

Sadly I purchased another one but my order got canceled and had to buy it elsewhere for more money. On top of that had to pay twice for it to get connected.

Got it on August 10, 2020, and today, January 3, 2021 it has stopped working. Just will not start working, and I’ve checked the outlet, made sure the lid was closed, did all types of troubleshooting to no avail. Did not get even six good months. Please buy another machine if you know what is good for you.

If I had it to do over again, i would have gone with a different option. I would say if you have kids or a big family; you might want to look at something else for sure.

It has nice features like a second rinse, extra spin, and a deep rinse if using fabric softener. I feel like I have more options when picking a wash cycle. My clothes feel and smell cleaner. The lid feels more secure unlike my previous washer which had a lid that cracked every year. So far, so good. If I had it longer I probably would have picked a 5 star but I am cautious at this point.

Posted .Hello. We’re sorry to hear that you dislike your washing machine. We know that can be frustrating and apologize. We do have some information about this washing machine. It can use fabric softener. In order to do so, please, wait until the Rinse cycle status light is lit and the final rinse fill is complete before adding the recommended amount of liquid fabric softener directly to the rinse bath. When adding liquid fabric softener, pour into deeper areas of rinse water while avoiding direct contact with fabric. For the shakiness, please make sure that your load is balanced. Unbalanced loads can cause the washer to vibrate more. Stop the machine and redistribute the load. Also, the more the legs are extended, the shakier the washer will be during operation. Posted .Hello. We appreciate you reaching out, though we truly hate to hear you’ve had an issue with your washer not filling with water and not cleaning your clothes properly. We know how frustrating that must be; this isn’t the quality ownership experience we want for you, and we’d like to assist. You may want to check your water supply to ensure both the hot and cold faucets are fully on, and there is no obstruction in the hose. Resetting the washer by disconnecting it from power for a couple minutes, then reconnecting, may also help; this resets the electrical components. Regarding the issue you’ve had with clothes not getting clean, you may want to ensure the washer isn’t overloaded and the water is hot enough to properly dissolve detergent and provide a good cleaning performance. We also have a troubleshooting section in the manual (which can be viewed on our GE website by looking up your model number) starting on page 23. We hope that information helps, but if necessary our Service Department is also available at 1-800-432-2737; a technician would be able to properly diagnose and repair the issue. Items Get Stuck Under Impeller

I can fit a whole king-sized comforter. The only RECURRING problems I am having is thin items of clothing and small items getting stuck under the impeller disc. Then when the washer spins, it makes a very loud noise as if the item is scrubbing a surface as the impeller turns. This is the second time this has happened and I am making a second repair appointment. Being that the machine is under one year old, it was covered by the manufacturer's warranty. This is the only problem, but it is recurring. I may degrade my rating based on the outcome of this upcoming repair.

I decided to give it a try and I like it so far. It gets the clothes clean and smelling good. I had it for about a month and so far so good.

Gets off balance with 3 towels in it. Hot or miss as to if it will add more water. This machine does not have a fabric softer dispenser. Who makes a washer without a way to add fabric softener. Don’t buy this machine. Waste of money.

The drain and spin cycle on this washer is HORRIBLE. I HATE the fact that I wasted my hard earned money on this product! I make all efforts to ensure that I'm not overstuffing the washer and even with a throw blanket and a few other items wash cycles have continuously finished completely soaked and heavy!!! I DO NOT RECCOMEND!!!S
