    Love the washers and all the features. But it started leaking within 5 days. When I returned the washer I also notice another one that was returned as well. So don't waste your money or time.

While we’re thrilled you loved the washer and its features, we truly hate to hear you had an issue with leaking. We know how frustrating that must have been, especially when the appliance was brand new and you ended up returning it. This isn’t the quality ownership experience we strive to provide. If you still had the washer, checking the door gasket to ensure it’s properly seated and not torn, and the fill hoses/drain hose to make sure the connections are tight and it drains correctly, could have helped. Further details regarding troubleshooting are available on page 27 of the manual, and we also have an article on our GE website titled ‘Water – Leaking Troubleshooting’ that may have helped.     I bought both GE washer & dryer. They clean ok but are super loud.

    The reason I give it a 1 star rating is because the bleach used for towels and white clothes drains immediately into the washing machine, no delay. When we washed clothes it ruined every piece of clothing that was washed. They came out with white stains on all of them. We can not use bleach in the washing of towels or white clothes. This caused a loss of a large number of our clothes.

      Hi JOBBILLINGS, thanks for reaching out! We're terribly sorry to hear about your clothing and the bleach issues that you've encountered. We know that this must be frustrating for you. If there was an improper dispensing of bleach or fabric softener, it could be because too much was added to the compartment. Try adding a little less bleach to see if this helps. If you're still finding that your bleach is running directly into the washer before you've started the cycle, make sure that the dispenser drawer is fully opened before adding bleach, fabric softener, or detergent. If you continue to have issues, we'd recommend taking advantage of your warranty on page 31 of your Owner's Manual and scheduling service. We hope that this is helpful!     I like the features this has except the Remote start Wifi is crap, it doesn't work like it should or i think it should

    This is my first front load washer. I must say I love it. Clothes come out really clean. The look and design is very nice as well.

    washer tries to drain when it's off with no water

    I've only had the washer installed for about 1 months and the washer would turn on and try to drain itself on and off throughout the night. GE support isn't helpful because they told me it's stacked and won't service it unless I unstack it myself.

    Had this washing machine for two years still look brand new in my house and the motor gone I am buying a new one a different brand don’t like it wouldn’t recommend this to no one

    BEST buy send bad washer and upon return they are not refunding full money back, they are forcing me to use their promotional gift cards that they sent with washer and keeping the money in their pockets forceful selling of their cards to make purchases from them. This is illegal and fraudulent practice.

    Worst purchase ever! This washer has been in my home for less than 2 months and has already had 2 service calls. Wouldn't connect to wifi, needed new system board on day 1 and now the door won't close properly, says it isn't closed and won't drain water. Never again!

    2 months into owning this washer and it’s leaking water. GE tech said it’s the soap but I use the pods and literally only use 1 or 2 depending on load size. The machine is a defective and worst of all I can’t return it. Don’t buy this machine or anything from Best Buy.

      Hi Diana, we're sorry to hear about this leaking, we know that this must be frustrating for you. Using non HE (High Efficiency) detergent can cause more suds and could lead to leaking. If you're not using an HE detergent, we'd recommend doing so to see if this helps. You may also want to check to make sure that the gasket around the opening of the washer is clean. Cleaning the pump filter as well, located on the bottom right hand side of the unit, can be helpful too. Page 17 of your Use and Care Manual offers some steps to take when cleaning the pump filter.     The dryer came dented and then was scratched by the people hired by Best Buy to deliver it. If I had to do it again I would question using the service.

    It smelled like mold/mildew shortly after we bought it, and this was supposed to be one of the best ones for ventilation of the front loading washers for that reason. The bleach trap pull out container never emptied so it was always full of either water or bleach. And when I would use the pods and throw them in the load, they left blue marks on my whites, which never happened until this machine.

    Washer doesn’t get soap out.

    We purchased this washer as the one we had (same model) was not getting all the soap out. Some clothes would still feel dry. We called a repairman who said it was probably the motherboard. This new washer is doing the same thing. I have to use extra rinse and “more water”

    I can’t tell you how many times I opened my new washer door after it was finished washing to find my clothes soaking wet. I tried every setting and it happens at least twice a week. My wife is so disappointed with her Christmas present and she wants her old top loaders back. I took a day off work to go through the manual and turns out it’s just a waste of hard earned money. Thanks GE for stressing out my family
